Sony confirms Android 10 update for range of Xperia smartphones, roll out begins in December starting from Xperia 1 and Xperia 5

Sony Mobile has officially confirmed the list of its smartphones that will get Android 10 update. This includes its flagship smartphones Xperia 1 and Xperia 5, which will get the update next month. Xperia 10, XZ2, and XZ3 will get the update in early 2020. Sadly, Xperia XZ, XZ1 and Xperia XA2 series are not in the list. List of Sony Xperia smartphones that are confirmed to receive the Android 10 update: Xperia 1 Xperia 5 Xperia 10 Xperia 10 Plus Xperia XZ2 Xperia XZ2 Compact Xperia XZ2 Premium Xperia XZ3 Android 10 will bring number of additional privacy and security features for users, as well as Dark Theme, Smart Reply, Focus mode, dedicated ‘Privacy section’, and lots more, but the realme OS might have additional set of features. As usual Sony said that software roll outs are a phased process, and  timing and availability will vary by market and/or operator. Source
