At the E3 2019 Microsoft has announced details about its upcoming high-end Xbox console codenamed 'Project Scarlett'. It will be powered by a custom-designed processor, leveraging the latest Zen 2 and Radeon RDNA architecture from AMD, pack high bandwidth GDDR6 memory, and a next generation solid state drive (SSD). It will feature hardware accelerated raytracing, variable refresh rate, 8K gaming support and ultra-low latency input.
