Display, design and hardware The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star sports a 6.28-inch FHD+ (1080×2220 pixels) FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display. It has a screen to body ratio of 80.6% and pixel density of 392ppi. The display is bright, the text looks sharp and sunlight legibility looks good too. Having said that, the viewing angle is not good since we observed green and blue hues from the sides. Moreover, there is a Blue light filter that is said to reduce eye strain by limiting the amount of blue light emitted by the screen.
