Google today has announced a series of new updates to Sheets that brings support for recording macro sheets, new chart types, better spreadsheets printing and more. It also brings a way to record macros in the cloud to automate repetitive tasks, as well as more formatting options. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCW1J3zg4YM With today's update, you can now record macros in Sheets eliminating the need for building the same charts across multiple sheets. The Sheets macro recorder lets you record those actions and play them back on command without having to write any code. When you record a macro, Sheets converts the macro actions into an Apps Script automatically, and if you want to update your macro, you can simply edit the script directly instead of having to re-record the macro from the beginning. Furthermore, it is also bringing the ability to add printing page breaks, custom paper sizes, more options for row and column grouping and a way to add checkboxes to cells. It is also making it possible to group the sheets by time frame so that you can easily access them later.
