Lenovo 100e, 300e and 500e rugged Chromebooks start rolling out

Lenovo back in January has introduced the 100e, 300e, and 500e Chromebooks for Education. Though they were supposed to ship from January end, after a delay for over a month, the company at the MWC 2018 event announced the availability of these.  To remind you, the Lenovo 100e is powered by the Intel dual-core Celeron CPU with 4GB of RAM and sports an 11.6-inch non-touch display. It has two USB 3.0 and Type-C ports, comes with rotatable HD camera and offers up to 10 hours of battery life. The 300e is powered by the MediaTek MTK 8173C SoC with 4GB of RAM, and one each Type-C and USB 3.0 port. It also has the same 11.6-inch multitouch display and packs add HDMI out. On the other hand, the 500e is the high-end Chromebook packs a 11.6-inch HD (1366x768) multitouch display, powered by a quad-core Celeron CPU, and 4-8GB of RAM. It has two USB 3.0 ports and two Type-C ports. It also charges over Type-C and also has a stylus that docks inside the computer. All the Chromebooks have rubber bumpers, reinforced ports and hinges and spill-resistant keyboards with reinforced keys that are tough.
