Lenovo introduces new ThinkPad laptops with 10th Gen Intel Core vPro and AMD Ryzen 4000 PRO options

Lenovo is expanding their popular ThinkPad lineup with new additions to its T series, X series and L series laptops. Powered by either 10th Gen Intel Core vPro processors or AMD's Ryzen 4000 PRO Mobile processors, Lenovo has also packed a bunch of new features like Modern Standby, Wake on Voice, Wi-Fi 6, Dolby Audio Speaker System and more. The Lenovo T series, designed as the business workhorse, will be offer both 10th Gen Intel Core vPro processors or AMD's Ryzen 4000 PRO Mobile options in 14-inch and 15-inch variants. Other features include Wi-Fi 6 and optional CAT 16 WWAN support, brighter displays with optional Dolby Vision, Wake on Voice, Dolby Audio Speaker System and more. A smaller brother to its T series laptops is their X series laptops with two models called the X13 and X13 Yoga. They can be configured with a FHD 500 nit PrivacyGuard ePrivacy display with PrivacyAlert or even a UHD OLED display with Dolby Vision. HUAWEI AppGallery, alternative to Google Play Store launched worldwide

Since being put on the USA Entity List, HUAWEI has been working on developing alternatives to Google's various services that are used in its smartphones. As an alternative to the Google Play Store, HUAWEI has launched AppGallery, which is a platform to download apps for HUAWEI smartphone users. HUAWEI is trying to build a robust ecosystem that can rival the more mature Google Play Store for its HUAWEI smartphone users. They are committed to ensuring security and protection on its platform with many layers of security like developer real-name verification and four-step review process for secure app operation. It also has an age-rating system to protect children from apps that are not suitable for their age. HUAWEI has promised that personally-sensitive information biometric data would only be processed locally on the HUAWEI device. AppGallery will segregate apps across 18 categories like news, social media, entertainment and more. If an app is missing, users can submit the name to a 'Wishlist' and they will get notified when the app goes on-shelf. Realme 6 with 64MP quad rear cameras teased officially, FCC certification reveals 5000mAh battery, 18W fast charging

realme launched the realme 5 smartphone back in August, since then the company had launched several smartphones in the realme 5 series including the realme 5s with a 48MP rear camera and the realme 5i. Today the realme India CEO Madhav Seth has posted an image captured using the upcoming realme 6 smartphone, which confirms quad camera setup, similar to the realme 5 series, but this has a 64-megapixel main camera. realme phone with the model number RMX2040 has been certified by the FCC, which shows quad camera set up, notch display, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port. This could be the relame 6 or realme 6i, based on the rumors. The phone also comes with an 18W charger and USB Type-C cable. This also reveals a 5000mAh battery. It measures 164.4 x 75.x 9.0mm and weighs 195g. It will likely feature HD+ screen, runs Android 10 with realme UI. The phone has dual SIM support, Wi-Fi b/g/n (2.4GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0. Skagen Falster 3 WearOS smartwatch with 1.3-inch AMOLED screen, Snapdragon Wear 3100 launched in India for Rs. 21995

Skagen, in partnership with X by KYGO, has launched their new Falser 3 smartwatch with a 42mm design in India. The smartwatch runs WearOS by Google, features a cardiogram app support, GPS, interchangeable straps, Waterproof up to 30m, 1.3-inch full round AMOLED (328 pixels per inch) and more. Powering the smartwatch is Qualcomm's Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform that is complemented with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. It has a speaker system built in that allows the user to take calls directly from the smartwatch itself. Along with this, the user can also access Google Assistant, play music via third party apps and translate text with Google Translate. Running Google WearOS platform, the Skagen Falster 3 features Tiles which provides users with a quick way to view information at a glance and also perform quick actions. The smartphones carries over features from its predecessor like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, heart rate tracking, untethered GPS, NFC for Google Pay and Rapid Charging that will charge the device to 80% in 50 minutes. Samsung today launched the Galaxy M31, successor of the Galaxy M30s with the same 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen and a huge 6000mAh battery, but with improved cameras in India. Intel announces Atom P5900 platform for 5G wireless base stations and more

Intel has launched a bunch of new products aimed at the deployment of 5G network infrastructure along with an update to its scalable data centre focussed processors. These include their new Atom P5900 processors, Ethernet 700 Series Network Adapter and Diamond Mesa ASIC for 5G network acceleration. The Atom P5900 SoC is based on Intel's 10nm SoC architecture and is designed to enable critical 5G requirements like high bandwidth and low latency processing in 5G wireless basestations. Intel is investing heavily into this market, expecting nearly 6 million 5G base stations running their platform by 2024. The second product that Intel announced in its 5G portfolio is the Ethernet 700 series Network Adaptor. It is a 5G optimised Ethernet NIC with Hardware-Enhanced Precision Time Protocol capabilities that ensures accurate time synchronisation, especially in edge servers. The product will enter production in Q2 2020 and is currently undergoing the sampling process. Expanding their data-centre product lineup, Intel has announced their 2nd Generation Xeon Scalable processors.
