iQOO has launched iQOO 3 and iQOO 3 5G smartphones in India, as it had promised. It packs a 6.44-inch Full HD+ 20:9 Super AMOLED screen with 180Hz Super Touch Response rate and a 16MP camera inside the tiny punch-hole, Schott Xensation UP glass protection, is powered by Snapdragon 865 with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and runs Android 10 with iQOO UI 1.0. The phone has Carbon Fiber VC Liquid Cooling that can reduce the surface temperature by up to 3.5°C and CPU temperature by up to 12°C. It packs quad rear cameras that includes a 48MP main camera, 13MP telephoto lens for up to 20x digital zoom, 13MP 120° ultra-wide angle lens that can also shoot macro image and 2MP depth camera. The phone features an in-display fingerprint scanner that can unlock the phone in 0.29sec when the screen is on. With display turned off, it will take only 0.31sec, says the company. Samsung starts mass production of first 16GB LPDDR5 DRAM for next-gen premium smartphones

Samsung today announced that it has begun mass production of the industry’s first 16-gigabyte (GB) LPDDR5 mobile DRAM package for next-generation premium smartphones. This comes after the first 12GB LPDDR5 DRAM mass production in July, 2019. Offers data transfer of 5,500 megabits per second (Mb/s), approximately 1.3 times faster than the previous mobile memory (LPDDR4X, 4266Mb/s). HUAWEI has introduced Mate Xs in an online event, as it had promised, after MWC Barcelona got cancelled.  It has a 6.6-inch OLED screen on the front and 6.38-inch screen on the back that expands to an 8-inch screen when unfolded, same as the Mate X, which didn't actually go on sale after several delays. It is just 5.4mm at its thinnest point. It is powered by Kirin 990 5G SoC, runs Android 10 with EMUI 10 on top, but this has HUAWEI Mobile Services (HMS) instead of Google Play.
