Xiaomi introduced Mi AirDots Pro, premium true wireless earphones for global markets back in June. The Mi AirDots Pro offers up to 10 hours of music playback, packs a 7mm dynamic driver unit and support active noise cancellation, we recently bought a unit from ShareSave which is Xiaomi’s own cross-border e-commerce platform, and here is the unboxing and first impressions of Mi AirDots Pro. Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 with 10.5-inch WQXGA Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855, dual rear cameras, in-display fingerprint scanner announced

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Tab S6, successor of last year’s Galaxy Tab S4, as it had promised. It has a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED WQXGA screen, is powered by a Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 SoC and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie). It has quad-stereo speakers tuned by AKG by HARMAN, similar to the predecessor and has got rid of the Iris scanner in favor of in-display fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy  Tab S6 has an 8-megapixel primary camera along with a 5-megapixel 123-degree  Ultra Wide camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It has a 5.7mm slim metal body. Vivo just announced Z5, the company's latest mid-range smartphone at an event in China as it had promised. Samsung’s Q2 2019 profits down 55.6% YoY, mobile profits down 41.5% YoY due to weak Galaxy S10 sales

Samsung has reported its earnings for Q2 2019 that ended June 30 2019, in which the company has made operating profit of 6.60 trillion won, down 55.6% YoY, as expected. This due to weakness and price declines in the memory chip market and inventory adjustments by major datacenter customers, similar to previous quarters, despite a limited recovery in demand, said Samsung. It reported revenue of 56.13 trillion won, down 4% YoY from 58.48 trillion won last year. IM sector that includes Mobile Communications and Networks Businesses posted 25.86 trillion won consolidated revenue, up 7.74% YoY and 1.56 trillion won operating profit for the quarter, down 41.5% compared to 2.67 trillion won in the same quarter last year. Samsung’s smartphone shipments increased QoQ led by strong sales of the new Galaxy A Series, including the Galaxy A50 and A70, while the overall market saw demand for smartphones decline due to the negative macroeconomic environment and seasonal weakness. However, sales of flagship models fell QoQ on weak sales momentum for the Galaxy S10 and stagnant demand for premium products. Apple reports $10 billion profit on $53.8 billion revenue in FY Q3 2019, iPhone revenue down 12% YoY

Apple has reported quarterly revenue of $53.8 billion, up 0.93% over last year with a net profit of $10 billion, down 13% YoY and earnings per diluted share of $2.18, down 7% for the financial year Q3 2019 that ended June 29, 2019. During earnings call Tim Cook said that the company saw significant improvement in year-over-year iPhone performance compared to last quarter, very strong performances for both Mac and iPad and absolutely blowout quarter for Wearables. Apple CFO Luca Maestri said that Apple set June quarter revenue records in several major developed markets, including the U.S., Canada, Germany, France, Japan, Australia and Korea. In emerging markets, Apple returned to growth in Mainland China, grew strong double digits in India and Brazil, and set new Q3 records in Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines. iPhone revenue was $26 billion, down 12% compared to a year ago. Last week ZTE's nubia brand confirmed that it will introduce its flagship Z20 smartphone in China on August 8th. Today a phone with the model number NX627J has been certified by TENAA in China, which should be Z20. It shows dual displays, similar to the nubia X that was introduced last year, but this will feature a slight larger 6.42-inch FHD+ OLED screen on the front and the 5.1-inch secondary OLED display on the back will have FHD+ resolution, compared to HD+ screen on the nubia X.
