Paytm Mall is now Apple authorized online retailer for iPhone, iPad, Macs and more

Paytm's e-commerce platform Paytm Mall has been selling smartphones, tablets and other electronics and it includes Apple products like the latest iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, etc. In similar lines, today, Paytm Mall has become an authorized online retailer to sell Apple products in India. With the partnership, all the Apple products listed on Paytm Mall will have an authorized tag, which is given only to brand-authorized sellers. The authorized tag is a mark of a genuine product and only authorized sellers will be allowed to sell Apple products on the platform. Paytm Mall will sell the latest iPhones, iPads and other Apple products are also expected to be sold soon. Apple will promote Paytm Mall on its website mentioning it as the authorized reseller for Apple products in India and as per the deal, only authorized sellers will be allowed to sell Apple products on the platform. Any other independent seller will be required to get authorization from Apple before listing their products on Paytm Mall. Google Gallery Go lightweight offline gallery app released

Google Photos which is a photo-sharing and storage service was launched back in 2015 and has been getting new features with updates over the years. Expanding further, today, Google has announced 'Gallery Go' which is a new lightweight app that brings many of the best features of Google Photos and organizes photos offline. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgnrC7BIxnE At the third annual 'Google for Nigeria' event, Google announced its new Gallery Go app. Gallery Go works offline and helps users find, edit and manage their photos and it organizes them offline. Also, it does not comprise on features as it brings many of the best features of Google Photos. The app weighs just 10MB in size and uses machine learning to organize, auto-enhance your photos. Google says that it is designed for users who don't have a reliable internet connection. This comes under the 'Go' edition, and we have seen Google doing similar in the OS level with Android Go. The Google Gallery Go app is available today on the Google Play Store for devices running Android 8.1 (Oreo) or higher.

WhatsApp partners with The Indian School of Public Policy for privacy education programme

Privacy is the utmost priority for all IM apps and companies are introducing various measures to improve privacy and increase security like end-to-end encryption, privacy settings for groups and more. In similar lines, WhatsApp has announced a partnership with The Indian School of Public Policy for a privacy education programme. It is India’s first programme in the theory and practice of public policy, technology product design, and management. WhatsApp's partnership with The Indian School of Public Policy will introduce a series of privacy design workshops co-hosted by TTC Labs to future policy makers. The partnership was announced during a discussion with Indian startups and entrepreneurs hosted at Innov8, and they discussed how designing products with privacy as a key principle is critical for building successful consumer and business products. LG starts rolling out Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit support to 2019 AI ThinQ TVs

After rolling out Alexa support to its 2019 AI ThinQ TV lineup back in May, LG has announced that it will add Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit support to 2019 LG OLED TVs, NanoCell TVs and UHD TVs with ThinQ AI capability via an update starting July 25. It said that LG is the first global TV manufacturer to support HomeKit. With AirPlay 2, LG 2019 AI TV owners can stream content — including Dolby Vision titles — from iPhone, iPad and Mac straight to their TV sets. Netflix launches mobile-only monthly plan in India for Rs. 199

After trials earlier this year, Netflix has officially launched mobile-only plan in India at Rs. 199 per month, which the company says it 'Made for India' where mobile devices are increasingly driving consumption. This is our fourth plan in the country, in addition to the existing basic, standard and premium plans that are available for Rs. 499, Rs. 649 and Rs. 799.
