Along with the Galaxy Tab S5e, Samsung also launched the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) in India. It was also introduced in February, and packs a 10.1-inch Full HD screen, is powered by Samsung’s latest Exynos 7904 14nm processor with 2GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie), has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It comes in WiFi and 4G variants, has USB Type-C support, has a full metal, unibody design, weighs less than 470g, measures only 7.5 mm thick and packs a 6150mAh battery. Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e with 10.5-inch WQXGA Super AMOLED display, 5.5mm sleek metal body launched in India starting at Rs. 35999

Samsung just launched Galaxy Tab S5e (SM-T725), the company’s latest tablet in India.  It was announced back in February and packs a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED WQXGA screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 670 SoC and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie). It has quad-speakers tuned by AKG by HARMAN, similar to the Tab S, but it doesn’t have an S Pen or Iris scanner. It has Samsung DeX support offering a PC-like environment with a separate DeX dock and is also the first Samsung tablet to feature the new Bixby 2. The tablet has a 5.5mm sleek metal body and packs a 7,040mAh battery with support for fast charging. Realme to launch 64MP camera phone in India soon as the CEO shares first 64MP Quad Camera sample

Samsung and Xiaomi's Redmi are said to be working on a new smartphone with 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor. Today Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the company will be introducing world's first smartphone camera with 64MP GW1 largest 1/1.72" sensor and 1.6µm pixel. In addition, he also said that the phone will be launched in India first. Watermark on the image says 64MP AI Quad Camera, so this should be quad camera phone, a first for realme, after Realme 3 Pro with triple rear cameras. The 64MP sensor uses Pixel-merging Tetracell technology and the remosaic algorithm offers 16MP images in low-light environments where four pixels are merged to work as one to increase light sensitivity and highly-detailed 64Mp shots in brighter settings. It also supports real-time high dynamic range (HDR) of up to 100-decibels (dB) that provides richer hues. We should know more details about Realme's 64MP camera phone soon.

Recently, HONOR launched its Honor 20 smartphone in the Indian market at Rs. 32,999. Xiaomi will not release Mi Max and Mi Note series phones this year

Xiaomi announced Redmi as a separate brand and also appointed Lu Weibing the president for the sub-brand back in January. The company recently launched the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro under the Redmi sub-brand. Now, the Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun has announced that the company won't be releasing Mi Max and Mi Note series phones this year. He also mentions that Mi series represent high-end devices featuring the latest innovations from the company and with the Redmi series, the company aims to offer high-quality products at affordable prices. HUAWEI Mate X foldable 5G smartphone launching in September this year

HUAWEI introduced its Mate X foldable 5G smartphone earlier this year and the company also confirmed that it will launch the smartphone in India later this year. The launch was being delayed and now, the company has officially announced information regarding the launch of the Mate X foldable smartphone. Earlier this week, Vincent Pang who is the President of HUAWEI's Western European Region revealed that the Mate X foldable 5G smartphone will launch in September-at the latest or even earlier. It will run on Android operating system and will be launched in markets which have 5G deployed, but it is not coming to the US given the HUAWEI ban in the US. Pang also said that the slow rollout of 5G in markets like China was one of the reasons for the delay. The company has improved the P-OLED screen on the device and performed a lot of tests to prevent it from getting caught up with the same problems that Samsung had with the Galaxy Fold. Sony WI C200 and WI C310 wireless earphones launched in India starting at Rs. 2490

Sony has been constantly updating its audio lineup with a range of earphones, headphones, speaker, etc. The company recently launched WH-1000XM3  wireless headphones, SBH82D headphones, WI-C600N neckband headphones and more. Expanding its lineup, Sony has launched two new wireless earphones in India-WI C200 and WI C310 with magnetic buds, voice assistant and more. Sony WI C200     Sony WI C200 is a wireless earphone with in-ear style fit and it doesn't come with the usual plastic neckband, but only has the wires connecting the two earbuds together. The C200 weighs just 19g, comes with a 9mm driver, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, a frequency response of 20 Hz–20,000 Hz and the company claims that it will produce great audio performance with deep bass and clarity. The earbuds are magnetic and have built-in magnets for easy storage and are soft and flexible for comfortable listening. The in-built battery on this earphone charges via a USB Type-C port and claims to deliver up to 15 hours of playback when fully charged. Xiaomi releases kernel source for Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi 7A

Update [June 22, 2019]: Xiaomi has recently released Android Pie based Kernel codes for Redmi K20 (codename 'davinci'), Redmi 7A (codename 'pine') and Redmi 7 (codename 'onc'). Earlier [June 13, 2019]: Xiaomi launched the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro at an event in China on May 28th, and as per an official announcement the duo will be launched in India in July. Now, the company has released Android Pie based Kernel codes for the Redmi K20 Pro (codename 'raphael'). Apart from Redmi K20 Pro, Xiaomi has also released Android Pie based Kernel sources for Mi 9 (codename 'cepheus') and Mi MIX 3 5G variant (codename 'andromeda'). Sony smartphone with six rear cameras and dual front cameras surface

Sony Mobile was said to be working on a smartphone with eight camera setup, but there was no clear information regarding the same. Now, according to new leaks, an unannounced Sony smartphone with six rear cameras and dual front camera surfaces. The leak also reveals a detailed specification of the hexa camera setup. According to a new leak from Max J on Twitter, an unannounced Sony smartphone is said to feature six cameras to the rear and dual cameras to the front. The rear cameras setup will be a combination of 48MP lens  f/1.2/f.2.4 aperture, 20MP lens with f/2.4, 16MP with f/2.4, 8MP with f/2.4, 12MP with f/1.2/f/2.4 and 0.5MP ToF unit. The front camera is said to be a dual camera setup with 10MP primary sensor and 0.3MP ToF unit. LG W-Series smartphone with waterdrop notch display, AI triple rear cameras launching on June 26 on Amazon India

Update: June 21 - LG has sent out invites for the launch of the phone on June 26th on Amazon.in. Earlier: LG Electronics has been dormant for quite some time in the budget and mid-range smartphone market in India. But, it seems to change soon as LG and Amazon have posted teaser regarding the launch of new LG W-series smartphone and is expected to take directly on Samsung's 'M' series smartphones. Amazon India has posted a teaser of a new upcoming LG smartphone under 'Amazon Specials' section. The teaser image says "W FOR THE WIN, Coming Soon" along with some key features of the smartphone. LG 'W' series smartphone will come with a notch display and the company says that the notches can be customized on display according to the user's preference. It will sport AI-enabled triple rear cameras with various modes like normal, front camera selfie, portrait, night mode, wide angle, bokeh and more.
