Samsung develops first 3rd-generation 10nm-Class DRAM

Samsung Electronics has announced that it has developed a 3rd-generation 10-nanometer-class (1z-nm) eight-gigabit (Gb) Double Data Rate 4 (DDR4) DRAM for the first time in the industry. Mass production of the 1z-nm 8Gb DDR4 will begin within the second half of this year to accommodate next-generation enterprise servers and high-end PCs expected to be launched in 2020. Samsung’s development of the 1z-nm DRAM paves the way for an accelerated global IT transition to next-generation DRAM interfaces such as DDR5, LPDDR5 and GDDR6. Following a full validation with a CPU manufacturer for eight-gigabyte (GB) DDR4 modules, Samsung will be actively collaborating with global customers to deliver an array of upcoming memory solutions. In line with current industry needs, Samsung plans to increase the portion of its main memory production at its Pyeongtaek site, while working with its global IT clients to meet the rising demand for state-of-the-art DRAM products. Vivo V15 Pro Review: Another step forward

Vivo launched the NEX last year with a no-notch design, in-display fingerprint sensor and a pop-up camera in India, soon after it was introduced in China. The design received praises since the price was compelling, so the company has brought all these things at a cheaper rate to the Indian market with the V15 Pro a few weeks back. Samsung Galaxy Store offers optimized custom-curated, AI-recommended content

Now it has detailed the features. For the uninitiated, the Galaxy Store brings together all the features from Galaxy Apps and Galaxy Themes that Galaxy users love, creating a whole new digital marketplace optimized for individual users. Vivo V15 with 6.53-inch FHD+ display, 6GB RAM, 32MP pop-up front camera, triple rear cameras launched in India for Rs. 23990

After the launch of V15 Pro last month, Vivo has launched the V15 after it was announced earlier this month.  It has a 6.53-inch FHD+ in-screel LCD with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 90.95% screen-to-body ratio instead of Super AMOLED display on the V15 Pro, and is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, compared to Snapdragon 675. It has the same 32-megapixel pop-up front camera, but this features a 12-megapixel dual-pixel rear camera, instead of quad-pixel units. The 5-megapixel depth sensor for portraits and an 8-megapixel 120-degree wide-angle cameras are retained. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor instead of in-display fingerprint sensor, and has a 4000 mAh battery with support for Dual-Engine fast charging and a micro USB port. Xiaomi’s upcoming Android One smartphones said to feature in-display fingerprint sensor, 32MP front camera

It has been close to eight months since the Mi A2, Xiaomi's second Android One smartphone was launched. Earlier this year a report from XDA said that the company is working on its successor code-named orchid_sprout. Now a new report says that the company is working on two Android One phones codenamed 'bamboo_sprout' and 'cosmos_sprout' along with another phone codenamed 'pyxis' which should be the Chinese version of one of these phones. This report reveals that both the phones will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, unlike the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on both the Mi A1 and Mi A2. It also reveals that the phone will also come with a 32-megapixel front camera with 4-in-1 pixel binning technology that combines the information from four pixels to create one large pixel. Pixel binning is already available in the Mi A2 and most of Xiaomi's smartphones. Other specifications are not available yet, but the top-end model could be powered by Snapdragon 675 SoC like the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Xiaomi integrates Google Lens into MIUI Camera App

Google, at I/O 2017 unveiled Google Lens with the ability to identify objects and, and at I/O 2018 it announced that Lens will be available directly in the camera app on supported devices from various OEMs including LG, Motorola, Xiaomi, HMD/Nokia and OnePlus. Google Lens is already available as a standalone app on the Google Play Store and can also be accessed from Google Photos. Other than Google, OnePlus, ASUS, Nokia, Motorola and other OEMs have already integrated Google Lens inside the system camera app, and now Xiaomi has also updated its MIUI Camera app which brings Google Lens integration. Vivo V15 Pro Camera Samples

Vivo launched its  V15 Pro smartphone in India last month for Rs. 28990. It has triple rear cameras that includes a 48-megapixel  1/2.25″ main sensor (12MP Effective Pixel) with f/1.8 aperture, which should be ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor, 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 8-megapixel AI 120-degree Super wide angle camera with f/2.4 aperture. Similar to most of the phones with 48MP sensor, this uses 'four-in-one pixel' technology to combine four adjacent pixels into a single 1.6μm large pixel. It has a 32-megapixel pop-up front camera with Samsung ISOCELL GD1 sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The camera UI is similar to other Vivo phones. On the top there is a flash toggle, HDR toggle, option to enable portrait light effect, Live Photo and Settings option where you can enable 48MP option. On the bottom there is Image Recognizer option, timer, Filters, portrait bokeh, ultra-wide toggle and option to switch to 19.5:9 aspect ratio from 4:3 easily. Oculus at the GDC 2019 announced its new PC-powered headset; the Oculus Rift S. It works with the Rift platform, giving users access to the top-selling and most immersive VR titles and other games like Asgard’s Wrath, Defector, and Stormland. HUAWEI P30 and P30 Pro teased in images, pre-booking offers revealed

HUAWEI is all set to introduce its flagship P30 and P30 Pro series on Tuesday, March 26th. After press shots and detailed specifications surfaced recently, the phone has been teased several images on the official website and the pre-order offers for Europe have been revealed. Pre-booking offers include free Sonos One worth €229 with the P30 and the Sonos One and a wireless charger worth €288 along with the P30 Pro for pre-orders starting March 26th till April 30th.
