POCO F1 finally gets Widevine L1 support via OTA beta update

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched POCO F1 in India last year. The phone did not have widevine L1 support at the launch so that users could not stream HD content on Netflix and Amazon Prime Videos. The company already confirmed it will look into it and later it confirmed that it is working with Google and Qualcomm, and is planning to release an update which will bring the widevine L1 support to POCO F1. microSD Express will offer hyper-fast data speeds of up to 985MBps for mobile devices

Today at the MWC 2019, the SD Association announced microSD Express, offering the popular PCI Express and NVMe interfaces alongside the microSD interface for backwards compatibility. Just like SD Express, microSD Express uses the PCIe interface delivering a 985 megabytes per second (MB/s) maximum data transfer rate and the NVMe upper layer protocol enables advanced memory access mechanism, enabling a new world of opportunities for mobile devices. Moreover, the microSD Express cards defined in the SD 7.1 specification will be offered in a variety of capacities such as microSDHC Express, microSDXC Express and microSDUC Express. According to the company, the microSD Express delivers speeds necessary to transfer large amounts of information generated by data-intense wireless communication, speed-hungry applications running on cards and mobile computing devices. The SDA released visual marks to denote microSD Express memory cards to make matching the card and device easier for optimal device performance. OnePlus has showcased its first  Prototype Smartphone powered by Snapdragon 855 at the MWC, as it had promised.  OnePlus said that it has been using the latest Snapdragon 8 series Mobile Platforms since the release of the OnePlus One. The Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform combined with the Snapdragon X50 5G modem and Qualcomm RF Front-End solutions to power the phone. At Qualcomm Technologies’ booth, OnePlus simulated a futuristic setting of 5G cloud gaming where players would only need a smartphone and a gamepad. Through the powerful capabilities of cloud processing as well as the throughput and responsiveness of 5G, players can play large sized games online that are generally only playable after downloading onto the PC first. HMD global unveiled Nokia 4.2 smartphone at an event in MWC 2019 yesterday. Notably, this device comes under the Android One initiative and mid-range segment. Google to bring Assistant integration within Messages

Google has announced that it is rolling out Smart Reply for Messages app in Spanish and is also sharing new features coming to the app. In the coming months, Google will bring Assistant integration within Messages for English across the globe. The app uses on-device AI to offer suggestion chips relevant to your conversation. Suppose, you are chatting about a movie, Assistant might show you suggestion chip to learn more about the film. By tapping the chip, you can ask the Assistant to pull up a card with recent movie reviews or showtimes, which you can choose to share back into your conversation with just another tap. To make RCS messaging more widely available, Google already starting working with ecosystem partners, including Samsung, Huawei, America Movil, Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefonica, Telenor, and Vodafone. It is lightweight, compact and foldable, and the wireless behind-the-neck design is shaped for comfortable, all-day listening. The SBH82D features the inner structure to Xperia Ear Duo which allows users to listen to their music while being able to hear the surroundings thanks to its open-ear style design.
