Xiaomi Mi TV sales cross 500,000 units in India in over 6 months of launch

Xiaomi India today announced that it has sold more than 500,000 or 5 lakh units of Mi LED TVs in about six months of launch back in February. This includes Mi LED TV 4 55", Mi LED TV 4A 32" and Mi LED TV 4A 43" sold across mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home stores. The company said that it has become one of the fastest growing smart TV brands in India The company has been adding new content to Mi TV. It recently partnered with Viral Fever (TVF) to bring all their content including videos and web-series across all Mi TVs, and partnered with Eros Now to launch monthly subscription plans for Mi TVs starting at Rs. 49. Google Tez rebranded to Google Pay, will be available at over 15,000 retail stores across India soon

Earlier this year Google announced that it will be combining Android Pay and Google Wallet, into a single brand – Google Pay, making it an unified payment solution, and it started rolling out from February. At that time the experiences will be coming to Tez users in India soon. Today at the Google for India event the company said that Tez will be rebranded as Google Pay. Samsung Galaxy S10 – All the three variants are expected to feature in-display fingerprint scanner

Samsung is working on its next Galaxy S flagship smartphone purportedly called as Galaxy S10. As per the recent report, the Samsung is expected to adopt the in-display fingerprint scanner for its next and scheduled flagship device for 2019 launch. If the rumors circulating on the Internet turns out to be true, then we can presume all the three variants of Galaxy S10 will be equipped with technology that allows users to scan their fingerprint on the screen. Furthermore, Qualcomm will be supplying the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for the S10 lineup, rumored earlier. The ultrasonic fingerprint technology creates a 3D mapped fingerprint used by an optical scanner, which indeed boasts more accuracy than traditional ones. It's worth mentioning here that Samsung planned to implement optical in-screen fingerprint sensors developed by Synaptics for its Galaxy S8, but dropped later due to some issues. Having said that, Chinese handset makers like Vivo and Honor have  already launched smartphones with in-display fingerprint and ultrasonic fingerprint scanners, respectively. Telegram updated with chat export tool, Telegram passport improvements, Exceptions in Notification and more

Telegram, a cloud-based instant messaging and voice over IP service has rolled out an update lately bringing an array of distinctive features including chat export tool, improved password hashing algorithm, new “Exception” section in notification settings, improved Telegram passport and more. Talking about it in detail, the most recent update allows the user to save conversations/chats and other media content on your disk by exporting it through Telegram desktop app. Consequently, the exported data will be stored in JSON-format or HTML for offline access. In order to make use of this feature, the user should have the latest version of the Telegram Desktop app in their computer. Now head on to Settings > Export Telegram data to complete the process. Government allows commercial operation of drones in India from December; adopts all-digital process

Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) today released Drone Regulations 1.0 to fly commercial drones from December 1 and also introduced Digital Sky Platform is the first-of-its-kind national unmanned traffic management (UTM) platform that implements "no permission, no takeoff" (NPNT), an all-digital process offering one-time registration of their drones, pilots and owners. Civil RPA is categorized in accordance with Maximum All-Up-Weight (including payload) as indicated below: Nano : Less than or equal to 250 grams. Micro : Greater than 250 grams and less than or equal to 2 kg. Small : Greater than 2 kg and less than or equal to 25 kg.  Medium : Greater than 25 kg and less than or equal to 150 kg. Large : Greater than 150 kg. For every flight (exempted for the nano category), users will be required to ask for permission to fly on a mobile app and an automated process permits or denies the request instantly.
