Ulefone Power 5 with 6-inch FHD+ display, dual rear cameras, 13000mAh battery and Armor X 5500mAh battery rugged phone announced

Ulefone has introduced Power 5, successor of last year's  Power 3 in China along with the Armor X rugged phone. The Power 5 has the same 6-inch FHD+ display, Helio P23 SoC with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage as the Power 3, but this has whopping 13000mAh battery with up to one week of battery life and support for 5V/5A fast charging and Qi wireless charging. It runs Android 8.1 (Oreo), packs a 21-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX230 sensor along with a 5MP secondary camera. It also has a 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual front cameras. Xiaomi Mi 6X teased in more images, video ahead of tomorrow’s announcement

Xiaomi is all set to unveil its mid-range Mi 6X smartphone in China tomorrow. The company recently confirmed 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version of the phone and the box leak revealed no headphone jack and Snapdragon 660 SoC, now it has a teased the phone in Flame Red color and a in a new video commercial that highlights the features of the phone including its A.I dual rear cameras and the selfie camera. Tata Sky, Netflix team up for content delivery in India

Tata Sky and Netflix today announced a strategic partnership for content delivery in India. Through this partnership, Tata Sky users will now be able to browse and access the entire Netflix service, including TV shows, films, documentaries through the Tata Sky platforms in the coming months.  Tata Sky currently has over 18 million connections in the country and covers across 2 lakh towns. In the coming months, Tata Sky subscribers will have access to entire Netflix service, including TV shows, films, documentaries, stand-up comedy and kid’s titles and more Ultra HD content directly on the Tata Sky Platform. However, we are yet to know if Tata Sky will be launching a separate plan with access to Netflix or will include in the existing plans. Facebook removed 1.9 million terrorism content in Q1 2018, vows to improve the platform

Facebook today has detailed on its approach towards terrorism on its platform. The company says that it defines terrorism as any non-governmental organization that engages in premeditated acts of violence, government, or international organization in order to achieve a political, religious, or ideological aim. Facebook is including everything from religious extremists, violent separatists to white supremacists and militant environmental groups. It clarified that its counterterrorism policy does not apply to governments. The company's policy prohibits terrorists from using Facebook and its services. With the same goal, its new detection technology focuses on ISIS, al-Qaeda, and their affiliates. The counterterrorism team currently has over 200 members which is up from 150 in June. Facebook took action on 1.9 million pieces of ISIS and al-Qaeda content, which is almost twice as much from the previous quarter. It also states that 99% of the ISIS and al-Qaeda content that it took action on was not user reported, but was detected by their internal reviewers. Though the profile, Page, or Group post content related to terrorism, Facebook just removes the specific post, not the entire page since they don't violate any policies. Google is now making it easier to search for jobs in India

Google today at an event in Delhi has announced that it is bringing job search to Indian job seekers. This new search was first announced at I/O in 2017 and is a key component of Google for Jobs, which is an initiative focused on connecting job-seekers and employers through deep collaboration with the job matching industry. When a user searches for “jobs near me,” “jobs for freshers,”, they will now see an in-depth result that allows them to explore relevant job opportunities from across the web.
