Vivo V17 with 6.38-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, quad rear cameras, 4500mAh battery announced

Vivo launched the V17 Pro smartphone in India recently, and last week, the company announced the S1 Pro smartphone at an event in the Philippines. While Vivo is expected to launch the S1 Pro in India soon, today, the company has announced its new 'Vivo V17' smartphone in Russia which is a re-branded Vivo S1 Pro smartphone. Vivo V17 sports a 6.38-inch FULL HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio Super AMOLED notch display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 90% screen-to-body ratio and minimal bezels. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor paired with 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and runs Funtouch OS 9.2 based on Android 9 (Pie). The design is similar to recently launched Vivo S5. Regarding the optics, it sports a quad rear camera setup housed in a diamond-shaped module with a combination of 48MP (primary with f/1.8 aperture) + 8MP (ultra-wide with f/2.2 aperture) + 2MP (macro with f/2.4 aperture) + 2MP (depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture) and there is a 32MP f/2.0 front camera. Tenda C80 smart night vision home security camera launched in India for Rs. 6500

Tenda, the company known for its wide range of networking devices and smart home devices has now launched its smart home security camera in India — Tenda C80. It features night vision, motion alarm sensors, digital zoom, and more. Tenda C80 is a portable home security camera that is made for home and small businesses. It is powered by a Hi3518EV200 chipset and supports up to FULL HD (1080p) video recording at 25fps. It supports 2.4GHz WiFi, Ethernet, features 8x digital zoom, privacy shutter, night vision with 10-meter IR-LED illumination distance, motion alarm sensors and two-way audio. WhatsApp partners with Startup India for Ad Credit Challenge, invests $250000 into the Indian Startup Community

Earlier this year, WhatsApp partnered with The Indian School of Public Policy for a privacy education program. Similarly now, WhatsApp has partnered with Startup India to launch Ad Credit Challenge and the company has invested US $2,50,000 (Rs. 1,79,23,230 approx.) into the Indian Startup Community. With the partnership with Startup India, WhatsApp will provide 500 DPIIT-approved startups with US $500 (Rs. 35,850 approx.) each of Facebook ad credits and using the ad credits, the startups can create ads that deepen connections and increase sales. In order to be eligible for this incentive, startups must be at early traction or scalable stage and must be recognized by DPIIT. Interested startups can apply the Startup India website and selection is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once registered, the first 500 entries will receive free Facebook ad credits worth US $500. Paytm raises $1 Billion in new financing round, will invest Rs. 10000 Crore over the next 3 years

Through a new financing round, the Noida-headquartered firm, Paytm has  raised $1 Billion in its latest equity fundraise, named Series G funding. The company, now valued at $16 Billion, had its funding led by U.S. asset manager T Rowe Price with existing investors Ant Financials (contributed $400 million), SoftBank Vision Fund (contributed $200 million), and Discovery Capital also participating in the round. The financing round was conducted as Paytm attempts to fight back giants such as Google, Walmart’s PhonePe, and Facebook. The newly raised capital will be used by Paytm to court merchants as the company looks to expand its presence among small and medium-sized businesses. The company will also be working on expanding their offerings in consumer internet, bringing new-age financial services such as lending, insurance, investments, stockbroking to the masses. Samsung Galaxy S11e with triple rear cameras surface

Just recently, Samsung's next flagship phone for the year 2020, the Galaxy S11 was leaked with renders. Now, renders of the upcoming budget flagship successor to the Galaxy S10e, the Galaxy S11e has surfaced online. The major changes to the front design are the camera punch hole shifting to the centre top of the screen and a curved front display instead of the flat display like on the S10e. This will bring the screens on par with the more premium S11 and S11+. The device will measure roughly measure 151.7 x 69.1mm. OnLeaks has reported that Samsung Galaxy S11e’s display will measure between 6.2-inches and 6.3-inches diagonally with other standard Samsung design choices like a USB Type-C socket, a primary microphone and a speaker grill, the right spine housing the power switch and volume rocker.
