Realme releases kernel source for realme X

Realme has gained popularity since its inception because of VFM offerings in the mid-range smartphone segment. In July, it launched the Realme X, it's most premium offering to date. It packs a 6.53-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display from Samsung with a sixth-generation in-display fingerprint scanner and 91.2% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform with up to 8GB of RAM. Now, the company has released kernel sources for the Realme X, so there are good chances that we see custom ROMs for the smartphone in coming months. The company has also updated its Bootloader unlock tool, and Realme X users can now unlock the bootloader of their devices but unlocking bootloader will downgrade the Widevine certification level to L3 from L1 and users will no longer be able to enjoy HD content on apps like Hotstar, Amazon Prime Videos, and Netflix. Unlocking the bootloader will erase all the data on the device and might affect OTA updates, users will also not get official OTA updates as bootloader unlocking makes the secure data partition inaccessible. Xiaomi Mi TV 4A Pro and Mi TV 4C Pro Android 9.0 (Pie) roll out in September, coming to older Mi TV 4A series soon

Xiaomi launched Mi TV 4C Pro 32-inch HD ready TV running Patchwall based on Android 8.1 (Oreo) last year, making the company one of the first to ship Android 8.1 (Oreo) out of the box. The company launched the Mi LED TV 4A PRO earlier this year with the same OS version. Today the company has announced that it has started rolling out Android 9.0 (Pie) Android TV update to these users. Xiaomi also adds that these are one of the TVs to get Android Pie update. Other older models will get the update after that. The Mi TV 4A 32-inch and 43-inch models will also get the update soon, and the company started beta testing for them last month. Xiaomi launched Mi TV 4A 32-inch HD ready and 43-inch Full HD models last year running Patchwall based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). LG has announced Q70, the company's latest smartphone in the Q Series in Korea. This is the successor of Q60 that was introduced at the MWC earlier this year. Lenovo Tab M8 with 8-inch HD/FHD display, metal body and Tab M7 announced

Lenovo has introduced new Tab M7 and Tab M8, two new tablets in the M series ahead of IFA 2019 next week. The Tab M7 has a 7-inch WSVGA screen and the Tab M8 comes in HD and Full HD options. These have built-in Kid’s Mode 3.0 that offers rich and customized kids’ content for children under 12 years of age. "Kids who pick up the tablet will be switched directly to their kids’ account, which features a child-friendly interface with access to games, built-in applications, videos, audio and books that offer educational content in 44 languages," said the company. Parental controls are also available to limit children’s usage time, while the eye-protection mode is automatically turned on to help protect sensitive young eyes. Xiaomi's Redmi brand today introduced the Redmi Note 8 smartphone at an event in China along with the Redmi Note 8 Pro. This is the successor of the most popular Redmi Note 7 that was first introduced in China back in January, and is one of the first in the price range to offer 48MP Quad camera setup. It is that time of the year when news on the upcoming iPhone models and other Apple products start to surface and there has been leaks and rumours on the upcoming iPhone 11 series. Lenovo Z6 Pro, Lenovo K10 Note and Lenovo A6 Note launching in India on September 5

Lenovo recently launched the Tab V7 with 6.9-inch FHD+ display in India and last year, the company launched the K9 smartphone with dual front and rear cameras. Now, Lenovo has scheduled an event on September 5 in India where it will be launching three new smartphones - Lenovo Z6 Pro, Lenovo K10 Note and Lenovo A6 Note. Alongside the launch of Lenovo Z6 Pro smartphone in India, the company will also be launching K10 Note and A6 Note smartphones.
