Upcoming HONOR V30 and Redmi K30 smartphones will support 5G
Several companies have started rolling out 5G smartphones especially in China. Last week Vivo iQOO Pro 5G was announced, Xiaomi is expected to introduce Mi 9S with 5G support next month, next-gen Vivo NEX will also support 5G. Today, in a reply to a user's comment on weibo, HONOR President Zhao Ming said that the upcoming HONOR V30 will come with 5G support. This will be the successor of V20 that was introduced in China back in December last year. This is rumored to be powered by Kirin 985 SoC and should use HUAWEI Balong 5000 5G multi-mode modem. Earlier rumors revealed 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB versions, 48MP main + ultra-wide + telephoto triple rear cameras, in-display fingerprint scanner and an AMOLED display with 32MP in-screen camera. It is rumored to start at 2999 yuan (US$ 420 / Rs. 30,220 approx.) and go official sometime in Q4 2019. In the other news Redmi General Manager, Lu Weibing has also confirmed 5G support for the Redmi K30. This should be the K30 Pro successor of the K20 Pro that was introduced in China back in May. Redmi Note 8 with 48MP quad rear cameras, Snapdragon 665 confirmed ahead of August 29 announcement
Xiaomi's Redmi brand is all set to introduce the Redmi Note 8 series on August 29th. After confirming details about the Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone, Xiaomi's Redmi brand has confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 will also pack quad rear cameras. It will pack a 48-megapixel main camera along with an ultra wide-angle lens, depth of field lens and a super macro lens, everything arranged vertically. The image also shows dual LED flash next to the camera. [gallery link="file" columns="1" size="large" ids="289745,289744"] The company also posted couple of low-light shots captured on the Redmi Note 8, and also said that it will use four-in-one pixel binning to make an 12MP image with 1.6μm pixel for night mode shots, similar to the Redmi Note 7 series. It also confirmed that the phone will be powered Snapdragon 665 11nm Mobile Platform compared to the Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform in the Redmi Note 7S. The company did not reveal other details yet, but it will likely retain the FHD+ Dot Notch screen from the predecessor, but it has confirmed a smaller chin for improved screen-to-body ratio, better battery life, NFC and more RAM and storage. OnePlus 7T with circular triple rear camera module surfaces in render
It is that time of the year when we see leaks and rumours regarding the upcoming OnePlus smartphone. Recently, purported images of OnePlus 7T Pro leaked and similarly, now, renders of the upcoming OnePlus 7T have surfaced revealing the key details of the smartphone. The renders reveal a triple rear camera module on the OnePlus 7T and the cameras arranged horizontally in a single line. The Dual LED flash is also present below the triple cameras. The camera module is not flushed to the rear panel, but there is a slight bump and the triple cameras are separated by angular lines. The back panel is said to be curved along with the OnePlus logo just like its predecessor. OnePlus 7T is said to retain the same waterdrop notch and not feature a pop-up camera mechanism like the OnePlus 7 Pro. The renders also suggest that the display size is said to be 6.5-inches and the dimensions are said to be 161.2 x 74.5 x 8.3mm. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The headphones come with in-ear earbuds that is curved at a certain angle to fit the ears comfortably. This comes after OPPO filed ENCO trademark last month. Brian Shen, OPPO VP confirmed that it has four microphones for both FF+FB dual active noise cancellation. This Hybrid active noise cancellation uses both feedback and feedforward using four microphones, one pair per side. The feedforward active noise cancellation uses the external microphone to measure ambient noise before it enters the ear, processing that signal to ensure an exact and opposite signal leaves the system's speaker to effectively cancel the ambient noise. Meanwhile, the internal microphone is used to create the feedback loop of the feedback noise cancellation system. A filter is used to minimize the acoustical signal near the microphone.
