WhatsApp for iOS gets group audio calling, beta update for Android brings ‘Select all’ chat option

WhatsApp for iOS is getting a new group audio calls feature; this means that soon you will be able to make voice calls with your multiple contacts right from WhatsApp. The new change is apparently server-side roll out, so it might take some time for everyone to get this new feature.  On the other hand, WhatsApp for Android gets 'Select all' chats to perform quick actions. This will easily let you mark all the new messages as read or archive all your chats with a single tap. For the 'select all' option to appear in the menu, you will have to select one chat at least. For the feature to be present, Android users need to have version 2.18.60 or above. In case if you haven't got the update, you will have to wait for next beta release. As for the group audio calling on iOS, the interface is very similar to what we have seen for individual audio calls, but with multiple caller IDs. The U.I has buttons to enable speaker, video call, and mute button below the profile pictures of the participants. However, the limit participants for group audio calls hasn't been revealed. The group audio calling functionality was announced back at the F8 event earlier ...

Confirming the details, the leaked images of the Mi 8 retail box and what looks like a presentation side showcases the Xiaomi Mi 8 with slim bezels and a notch. FiiO BTR1 Bluetooth DAC – Amp Review

Don't you hate it when you find out that your new smartphone doesn't sport a headphone jack? You're left with two options. Use that ridiculous dongle bundled in the box or shell out a lot more money for a high-quality Bluetooth headset. What if we told you there was a third option? Bluetooth music adaptors have existed for years now but FiiO sent us over their BTR1 dongle recently that is supposed to deliver audiophile-quality music over an AptX connection. With a cheeky name that literally says better one, our curiosity was definitely piqued. Find out what we thought about it in our review of the FiiO BTR1. Design The FiiO BTR1 is a diminutive piece of kit as it should be and is meant to be worn as a clip on your shirt or jeans pocket. The entire apparatus barely weighs 20 grams and is lightweight to the point of being unnoticeable. The clip at the back is strong enough to withstand a bit of jostling while traveling so you won't need to worry about it dropping off. The shell is made of aluminum and has a lightly rigged surface that makes it a bit grippy. There's not much in the way ...

Motorola Moto Z3 Play with 6.1-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 636 and 5G Moto Mod surfaces

Motorola's Moto Z3 Play since the day it started appearing in the news has been a hot topic mostly because it is the successor to the Z2 Play, and the Moto Mod enhancements it is said to bring. The company already started sending out media invites for the launch which is scheduled to take place on June 6th in Brazil. However, thanks to leaks and rumors, there is pretty much very less to know about the phone at this moment.  In what can be seen as an unsurprising move, the Lenovo-owner Motorola Moto Z3 Play has yet again surfaced the interface along with a new 5G-enabling Moto Mod. While the leaked images of the Moto Z3 Play offers nothing that we don't already know, it is the 5G Moto Mod that caught our attention. Back in 2016, Motorola had announced that it will bring a 5G Mod that is said to add 5G capabilities to the Z line. It looks the time has finally come. Like with most Moto Mods, the 5G Mod also stick to the back of the phone through the 16-pin connector, but unfortunately, that's pretty everything we know about the Mod at this moment. Interestingly, if you closely notice the ...

Dyson Pure Cool Link Air Purifier Review

James Dyson, the eponymous creator of British Technology company Dyson, has always had a knack for creating consumer goods that perform well but also manage to look great. Designed as lifestyle products, Dyson's vacuum cleaners, hair dryers and yes, air purifiers, are easily recognizable as they stand out amongst the sea of competitors. Be it the bright colors, space-age design or simply quality construction, Dyson products are recognizable. For all of that though, the company commands a steep premium. Is it worth spending that much more on a prettier air purifier? Let's find out in our review.  Design The Dyson Pure Cool Link Air Purifier is a thing of beauty. A Jetsons-esque style space-age machine that in our case even has a Tron like electric blue shade! If it wasn't obvious, we really like how the Dyson Pure Cool Link looks. The lower part of the air purifier is essentially a cylinder with a mesh housing. Buttons are far and few here and you'll spot a single power on-off button along the base. A small display indicated the current status of the air purifier including the current fan speed, wireless status. Inside the base, you'll find the glass fiber HEPA filter. The filter is obviously ...
