LG HU80KA 4K UHD projector offers 150-inch projection, has HDR 10 support

LG today announced that it will be introducing its first-ever 4K UHD projector in the HU80K series at the CES 2018 event that is scheduled to kick-start in a couple of days. It can create a 150-inch screen at 2,500 lumens making it the brightest LG's projector till date.  LG claims that the HU80KA Projector is half the size of competing 4K projectors in the market. It also supports HDR (HDR 10) content and works regardless of its placement in the room promising great cinematic experience. The 4K HU80KA Projector's portable size and unique upright design is made possible by its mirrorless I-shaped engine which allows the projector to show perfect images even if its placed on the floor, mounted on the wall or hanging from the ceiling. The projector comes with webOS 3.5 smart TV interface allowing you to access most popular online streaming services offering 4K content. Connectivity ports include USB, Ethernet, and HDMI, as well as Bluetooth for external devices such as a keyboard and mouse. It also comes with two 7-watt speakers. The company didn't disclose availability and pricing details yet but will have the entire Projector line-up at the CES 2018 show.
