Samsung launches 40 new Split AC models including Wind Free 2.0 ACs for 2020 in India

For the year 2020, Samsung has updated their split AC line-up including their unique Wind Free AC 2.0, Triple Inverter, Eco Inverter, and On/Off series. Samsung now has over 40 models for its split AC with aesthetic designs and with price ranges that suit any home. In their premium segment, Samsung has updated the Wind-Free series with the new Wind-Free AC 2.0 with Wi-Fi capability. The model now has 23000 micro-holes, up from the 21000 in last years model, that will gently spread air evenly throughout the room, maintaining a comfortable level of coolness without any draft. Through WiFi control on the Smart Home App, users can remotely control the AC, monitor limit power usage and even schedule operations. They are now equipped with R32, eco-friendly refrigerant and also come with the Easy Filter that eliminates dust, contaminants, allergens, bacteria and viruses. The products will come 10 years of warranty on the compressor and features an energy-efficient Digital Inverter. Xiaomi teases MIUI 12 officially ahead of launch later this year

Xiaomi announced the latest iteration of its own proprietary Android skin MIUI, dubbed MIUI 11 along with Mi 9 Pro 5G, Mi MIX Alpha 5G, and Mi AirDots Pro 2 at an event in China at the end of September, and it was roll out to range of devices starting from October. Today the company has started teasing the MIUI 12, the next major update with a new image. This shows a blue colored gradient on the number '12' which hints at even more visual changes. The MIUI 11 brought new optimized modern UI design focused on content viewing and also received two new Red Dot design awards for the new visual design and sound effects.  The company doesn't reveal what the new MIUI 12 update will bring since it is still in early stages of development, but it expected to feature improved animation, full screen gesture improvements for its upcoming curved screen products, new fonts, sound effects and more. OnePlus Optimized Charging will protect phone from overcharging at night

During all of this CES 2020 chaos, OnePlus has revealed that it has been working on a pretty nifty little feature called Optimized charging for its devices. It will protect battery charging capacities and optimize battery drain rates when charged overnight while ensuring the user does not get affected in any way. The software feature will control the phones charging behavior when connected to a charger over night. This is an extremely common behavior where users will plug in their phone and only unplug it in the morning, keeping the battery at 100% for hours. This is known to be detrimental to the Li-ion batteries in phone, especially with phones these days having high wattage chargers (Warp chargers, VOOC chargers, etc.) When turned on, the phone will charge to 80% quickly and temporarily suspend charging any further, even while it remains connected to the charger.
