Meizu just announced the 16X, the company's latest mid-range smartphone in China, after it got certified last month. It packs a 6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 90.62% screen-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 710 with 6GB of RAM and runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Flyme OS.  It has a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX380 sensor, 1.55μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture along with a 20-megapixel secondary telephoto lens with Sony IMX350 sensor for portrait shots and 3x loss-less zoom and a 20-megapixel front facing camera with AI beauty recognition and Face unlock, similar to the Meizu 16. It packs a 3100mAh battery with mCharge flash charging. Fujifilm X-T3 compact mirrorless camera launched in India starting Rs. 1,17,999

Fujifilm India today has launched the X-T3 camera in the X Series mirrorless camera range. The X-T3 features the new X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 image processing engine. It is a compact mirrorless camera that features newly-developed back-illuminated 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor.  The company claims that the processor is s approximately 3 times faster than the current models. It is also the first APS-C mirrorless camera that is capable of recording 4K videos at 60fps 10-bit video. It also has an ISO of 160 and thanks to the Processor 4 image processing engine, it gets new monochrome adjustment" function to the Film Simulation modes. The new X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor is a back-illuminated APS-C sensor with more than 4 times the number of phase detection pixels than current models. It boasts a high S/N ratio and the lowest sensitivity of ISO160 despite its 26MP resolution. The low-light autofocus limit has also been extended to -3EV, enabling accurate AF even in low light conditions. Google rolls out Family Link app to more countries, expands parental controls to manage teens

Last year, Google introduced  the Family Link app last year to help parents stay in the loop while their kids are using Android devices. Family Link helps parents keep an eye on screen time, manage the apps their kids can use and more. Today, the company has started rolling out Family Link globally including India, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, as well as Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Panamá and Perú. Whenever you set up your kid's Android device, Google asks you to create an account. Enter your kid’s birthday, and if they’re under 13 (or the relevant age of consent depending on your region), you’ll be asked to provide consent to create the account. Once done, Family Link will automatically be downloaded to your kid's device, and you can choose the apps and settings that you want for your child. With this app, parents can set screen time limits, remotely lock a device, locate their child, view activity reports showing how much time their child spends on their apps, Approve or block apps as well. This only activates the unlocking process once you place your finger on the screen, which is faster and more power-efficient and is 29% faster compared to the in-display fingerprint sensor on the Mi 8. Nikon Z6 and Z7 full-frame mirrorless cameras launched in India starting at Rs. 1,69,950

Nikon, as promised, launched Nikon Z7 and Nikon Z6, as well as NIKKOR Z lenses under the Nikon FX-format mirrorless series in India at an event today. It was introduced in the market a few weeks back. The Nikon Z7 features a full-frame 45.7-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor with an Expeed 6 image processor. It also comes with an ISO range of 64-25,000, a 493-point autofocus system, 9fps continuous shooting and ability to record 4K UHD videos. Moreover, it has a built-in 5 axis vibration reduction, meaning you can expect a stabilised photo and video shoots . The Nikon Z7 sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen LCD OLED panel for displaying basic information, and a 3.69 million dot high-res OLED electronic viewfinder which Nikon says covers approximately 100 percent of the frame. Sony introduces PlayStation Classic mini console with 20 pre-loaded games, two controllers

After 24 years of introduction of the first PlayStation, Sony has introduced the PlayStation Classic, a miniaturised version of the PlayStation Classic that comes pre-loaded with 20 classic titles, including  Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, R4 Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3 and Wild Arms. "The mini console is approximately 45% smaller than the original PlayStation, and it emulates the original’s look and feel by featuring the same controllers and similar packaging," said the company. It comes with an HDMI cable to connect to your TV, alongside two controllers for local multiplayer within compatible titles. The PlayStation was the first home console in video game history to ship 100 million units worldwide.
