Google clarifies third-party app developers having access to your Gmail

The Wall Street Journal had posted a story on how Google lets third-party app developers read and analyze the contents of a user’s Gmail message. Today in response to that story, Google has published a new blog post detailing how its user and business organization using G Suite are protected and how important privacy and security is for Google.  Google says that it is continuously working on vetting developers and their apps that integrate with Gmail before it opens them for general access. Furthermore, Google claims that it gives both enterprise admins and individual consumers transparency and control over how their data is used. Google also lets users review what permissions you have granted to non-Google apps, and revoke them if you would like. As for G Suite users, admins can control which non-Google apps can access their users’ data through whitelisting. Google's ecosystem of non-Google apps gives users a choice and helps in getting most out of your Email. However, a non-Google app before publishing goes through a multi-step review process that includes an automated and manual review of the developer, assessment of the app’s privacy policy and homepage to ensure it is a legitimate app, and in-app testing to ensure the app works as it says it does. non-Google apps must ...

This succeeds the Honor 6C, which did not launch in India, but it is a major upgrade in terms of design, display, camera, and more, to the Honor 5C, which was launched in the country back in 2016. Should you get it? Let us jump into the review to find out. Box Contents Honor 7C smartphone in Gold color 2-pin charger (5V-2A) Micro USB cable SIM ejector tool User guide Display, Design, and Hardware The main change in the Honor 7C compared to the Honor 5C/6C is its 18:9 2.5D curved glass screen with gentle rounded corners. It has a large 5.99-inch HD+ display with a pixel resolution of 1440 × 720 pixels and a pixel density of about 268 PPI. Samsung Android Go phone with Experience UI, Android 8.1 surfaces in live images

Samsung rumored to launch an Android Go phone in the coming days, but no details have leaked so far leaving so much for imagination. However, things seem to be finally looking positive as the Samsung's Android Go phone's Experience U.X surfaced.  This means that the Samsung’s first Android Go smartphone won’t be running stock Android.  These pictures reveal Samsung's Android Go phone will have Google’s official Go apps installed over Samsung’s usual Experience UX. This comes as no surprise as Google never promised that Android Go phones will run on Stock Android, it only meant to offer a user experience that’s less demanding on affordable hardware, thanks to apps that use less memory and storage space. Samsung did have phones running stock Android U.I a few years ago; it used to sell it under the Google Play Edition program but it doesn't anymore. As for Android Go’s data saving and storage management functionality, Samsung seems to be using its standard Device Maintenance feature. We hope its abilities shouldn’t be any different from the Device Maintenance tool on latest Galaxy smartphones. As you would expect, the Android Go phone from Samsung won't pack an infinity display but will have on-screen navigation buttons, and it might be getting rid ...
