This performance metric is driven massively by regional music streaming seeing a surge, with some languages seeing over 150% increase, popular even outside their home state. Wynk Music's biggest categories continue to be Bollywood and International music, but it has seen huge growth in its regional languages, of about 75% in total. Wynk offers music in 14 Indian languages and regional songs now account for 26% of the overall 3 billion plus monthly streams on the app. Smartphone usage is increasing in Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns and rural areas along with more accessible internet data.
