Fossil, the company known for its luxury watches and smartwatches announced its Gen 5 back in August and recently, Amazon.in teaser confirmed the launch of on the Great Indian Festival 2019. But, now ahead of the Great Indian Festival 2019, Fossil has launched the Gen 5 smartwatch with Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform, Wear OS, and more. Fossil Gen 5 smartwatch is a touch screen smartwatch and comes in different materials like ‘The Carlyle HR Smoke Stainless Steel/Black Silicone/Dark Brown Leather’,’Julianna HR Rose Gold-Tone Stainless Steel, Blush Leather, and Stainless Steel’. It comes with a 44mm dial, is powered by the Snapdragon Wear 3100 CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and runs on Wear OS by Google operating system. The sensor options include Accelerometer, Altimeter, Ambient Light, Gyroscope, Heart Rate, and the connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS and also has an in-built microphone and speaker which means that users can take calls on their smartwatch and hear responses from Google Assistant. It is also water-resistant up to 30 meters.
