ASUS ROG Phone II with 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz display, Snapdragon 855 Plus, 12GB RAM, 6000mAh battery announced for global markets

At the IFA ASUS announced the global roll out of its ROG Phone II, after it was introduced in China back in July. It has a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED HDR 120Hz, 1ms response time AMOLED display with DCIP3 gamut, is the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC with up to 12GB of RAM. It has 3D vapor chamber that efficiently transfer heat away from the SoC and into the body while gaming and there are vents on the back. There is an optical under-display fingerprint scanner, compared to rear-mounted fingerprint sensor in the predecessor. It has a 48-megapixel rear camera along with a 13-megapixel 125° ultra-wide camera, and a 24-megapixel camera on the front. The phone has dedicated ultrasonic AirTriggers with faster haptic response rate, vibration latency of 20ms, reduced by 68% from 63ms, and you no longer have to raise your fingers before tapping. It still has the 3.5mm audio jack and stereo front-facing speakers with DTS: X Ultra surround sound effect, and comes with quad noise-cancelling microphones.
