Apple Watch Series 5 sports an Always-On Retina display, a built-in compass, international emergency calling and more. It is now available in a wide range of materials including all-new titanium. Apple Watch Series 5's Always-On Retina display will show the time and important information at all times and Apple says that it has optimised every watch face for this display. On the Watch Series 5, the screen intelligently dims when a user’s wrist is down and returns to full brightness with a raise or a tap and this is made possible through technologies like low-temperature polysilicon and oxide display (LTPO), ultra-low power display driver, efficient power management integrated circuit and new ambient light sensor. It runs on watchOS 6 and the in-built battery on this watch claims to deliver 18-hour battery life. The Watch Series 5 comes with updated location features and now has a built-in compass.
