The new update comes as MIUI 10.3.3.0.PEFMIXM and weighs around 1.4 GB in size, this update brings Android 9.0 (Pie) along with July security patch to the device. Similar to Redmi 6 Pro the Android Pie update brings a couple of surprises for Redmi Y2 users, the update brings Dual 4G VoLTE support along with system-wide dark mode, Face unlock for App Lock and lock screen clock customization to the smartphone.
