LG to introduce new smartphones with LG Dual Screen support, NAVER Whale ‘omnitasking’ browser at IFA

Earlier this month LG confirmed that its IFA event on September 6. Today the company has announced a partnership with South Korea’s largest search engine provider NAVA for the Whale browser optimized for use on LG Dual Screen to offer the best multitasking experience. The company also confirmed new smartphones at the IFA with support for LG Dual Screen that will come with NAVER Whale preinstalled. Highlights of NAVER Whale Browser Based on Google’s open-source Chromium browser, with support for what NAVER calls 'omnitasking', the ability to carry out several tasks simultaneously on one screen. Supports split screen mode with adjustable divider to enable browsing two sites in the same tab and ability to move between two browsing screens quickly and effortlessly. Those who enjoy online shopping will be able to select from a site’s main category menus on one screen while reading product descriptions on the other. Bilingual users can search and read their favorite news sites in two different languages simultaneously with Whale.
