Google said to offer ‘Play Pass’ subscription service for premium apps and games

A few months back, Apple introduced Apple Arcade, a game subscription service that will offer over 100 new games in partnership with game developers. Following the same suit, the search engine giant Google is working on a similar gaming service called Play Pass. It's worth mentioning here that the Apple Arcade isn't live yet. As per the latest report, Google has started testing the app, and the company spokesperson confirmed the same. In the way of double confirming it, the screenshots of the app have surfaced online revealing the signup page and the $4.99 (approx Rs. 350) monthly cost after 10-days of a free trial. In the screenshot, it says, "Explore a curated catalogue spanning puzzle games to premium music apps and everything in between. From action hits to puzzles and fitness trackers, with Google Play Pass, you unlock access to hundreds of premium apps and games without ads, download fees or in-app purchases." Another screenshot suggests that the games like Stardew Valley and Marvel Pinball will be included in the subscription as well. This subscription service was spotted a year ago, and it may finally materialise soon. Source
