Intel announces new 8th Gen Intel Core vPro Notebook processors with better battery life, Wi-Fi 6 and more
Intel has announced a new 8th Gen Intel Core vPro mobile processor today and is based on Intel’s Whiskey Lake architecture. Intel is working with OEMs like Dell, HP, Lenovo, Panasonic, and other OEMs to bring the new design to the market. With the launch of the new vPro mobile processor, Intel introduces its new Intel Hardware Shield technology, which helps to defend against firmware attacks. The Hardware Shield from Intel Hardware ensures that a user's operating system is running on legitimate hardware and provides hardware to software security visibility, enabling the OS to enforce a more complete security policy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZHBlOCWoqw The new PCH offers 802.11 ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 when paired with the Intel Wireless-AC 9560 external RF transceiver chip.
