Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 MIUI 10 Stable OTA update starts rolling out in India

Xiaomi announced MIUI 10 Global back in June at an event in India and MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM roll out began back in September for various devices including Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi Note 5, Redmi Y2. Since then the company has been rolling out MIUI 10 Global Stable update for devices one after other. Now the company has started rolling out MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM for the 2016 budget bestseller Redmi Note 3 in India. [gallery size="full" link="file" ids="271312,271313,271311"] The new update comes as MIUI 10.1.1.0.MHOMIFI and is 261 MB in size and is based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Though the update doesn't bring Android version upgrade, Xiaomi has managed to enable Split Screen and Quick Switch on devices running Android 6.0. In the changelogs, Xiaomi has mentioned that it has updated the Android security patch on the device but it still runs on July 2018 security patch.
