Nokia and OPPO ink multi-year patent licensing agreement

Nokia has announced that it has signed a patent license agreement with OPPO. Under the agreement, OPPO will make payments to Nokia for a multi-year license period. However, the terms of the agreement remain confidential between the parties at the moment. This is a new agreement for both Nokia and OPPO and serves as multi-year license period. OPPO will now make payments to Nokia for using the licenses under Nokia's name. Nokia has already made several deals with top companies including Samsung, Xiaomi, LG, Microsoft and more. Maria Varsellona, Nokia Chief Legal Officer and President of Nokia Technologies said: OPPO is one of the leaders in the smartphone industry and we are pleased to welcome them as a Nokia licensee.
