Apple pulls WatchOS 5.1 update over reports of bricked Apple Watches
Apple WatchOS 5.1 seems to be reportedly bricking the Apple Watches, meaning the update isn't quite ready yet. Apple initially rolled out the update earlier this week along with iOS 12.1 but quickly pulled it hours later the reports of bricked Series 4 watches. Users who are affected by this issue took it to Twitter and Reddit to warn of the issues. This caused some watches to be stuck on the loading screen. The update is no longer available, but for those who did download the update and now have a bricked watch, Apple says it is working on a fix and will ship it as soon as possible. This Apple Watch issue comes in less than 24 hours after Apple unveiled new iPad Pro, refreshed MacBook Air, Mac Mini. Since it is Apple, the patch might be underway and can expect it to be rolled out anytime soon. Apple in a statement said: Due to a small number of Apple Watch customers experiencing an issue while installing watchOS 5.1 today, we’ve pulled back the software update as a precaution.
