Google Photos 4.0 for Android brings Material Design, swipe up Info Shortcut
Search engine giant Google is slowly updating its web service both in terms of feature and visual appeal. It's a known fact that Google has revamped Gmail, Chrome (Chrome 69) and now, its time for Google Photos. The company has started rolling out the new version 4.0 with new ‘Material Theme’ that was briefly introduced at I/O 2018. With this update, the company brings refreshed icons, a new search bar with slightly rounded corners. At the bottom, the bar features material theme icons for Photos, Albums, Assistant and Sharing, all with bold outlines. Having said that, most of the changes are in font and iconography. In addition to it, the company has also added a swipe-up gesture that allows users to check information about the photos without opening the menu. In case if you can't wait for the update, you manually install it by APK file from here. Via
