iPhone 2018: No Apple Pencil Support, 6.5-inch OLED and 6.1-inch LCD models could support dual SIMs in some regions
Apple has reportedly scheduled an event in September, where the company is expected to launch new iPhones with an edge-to-edge screen design. According to the trusted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the yet-to-be-launched 2018 iPhone models will not support the Apple Pencil, since it spoils the good user experience. Kuo also believes that Apple will announce three new iPhones with 5.8-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.5-inch OLED display. While the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch variant iPhones will be available starting from September, the 6.1-inch variant seems to be plagued by issues. He also added that the 6.1-inch and 6.5-inch iPhone variants will come in both single and dual-SIM and will be available to a specific market like China. Talking about the rumored specifications, the 5.8-inch iPhone will not offer dual-SIM support, but it may include e-SIM. It is expected to sport a display with a resolution of 2436 x 1125, offer a 2-cell 2,700 to 2,800 mAh battery and will go on sale at a price range of $800 to $890.
