Facebook starts testing its ‘Dating service’

Facebook at the F8 event back in May has introduced its 'Dating Service' and months after the announcement, Facebook is said to be testing its dating product internally with employees, according to the independent app researcher Jane Manchun Wong who found evidence of the product the within source code.  The company said to have asked his employees to use fake data for the dating profile and is also planning to delete all data before the public launch. Facebook also warns employees that its anti-harassment policies apply to the dating product. The sign-up page of the product has options to specify your gender, location, and which genders you’re interested in matching with. Facebook is internally testing Facebook Dating. Since Facebook announced at its F8 event, we can expect the feature to be available to the public once the testing fetches fruitful results, but the company could cancel it altogether if it wishes otherwise.
