Xiaomi says that it's the fastest selling phone series in India to cross the 5 million mark in the given time across all platforms. It took 6 months for the Redmi Note 4 to cross 5 million units, and 10 million units within one year of launch. The company did not individual sales numbers for the smartphones. Even though it has been 4 months since the launch, the company still continues to sell the smartphone every week online, and the 6GB RAM version of the Redmi Note 5 Pro goes out of stock within minutes.
