Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Buds ‘Bean’ true wireless earbuds surface

Samsung introduced Galaxy Buds+ (SM-R175) with improved sound, triple microphones, and up to 11 hours battery life in February along with the S20 series, but there was no change in the design compared to the first Galaxy Buds, but the company is now said to be gearing up to introduce  new Truly wireless earphones  codenamed "Bean" with the model number SM-R180, and the design resembles that of a bean. This will offer a more compact and will fit well inside the ear, thanks to 2.8cm (approx.) body. It should also offer improved ambient noise isolation, and is said to come with two small speaker units, one of which should provide treble and midrange or low tones. To get a better sound, the speakers seem to have an outside channel, similar to what you would find on a subwoofer. In addition, as usual, there are also several built-in microphones and use beam forming technology to offer much improved audio capture for calls. It will likely come with Ambient Sound feature, giving users to choose from four levels of background noise pass-through. OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro latest OxygenOS stable update brings March security patch, slow-mo video improvements and more

After rolling out beta update last month OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 10.0.9 [10.3.2 in India] for 7T, OxygenOS 10.0.8 [10.3.2 in India] for the OnePlus 7T Pro that brings March Android security patch, improved RAM management, stability improvements for recording videos in slow-mo and some fixes in Gallery. The OxygenOS 10.0.5 [10.3.2 in India] for the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 was rolled out earlier this week brining the same features. OnePlus said that the OTA will have a staged rollout and will be available to limited number of users now and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs. As usual, it said that using VPN to download this build might not work as the rollout is not based on regions and is randomly pushed out to a limited number of devices. Skype’s ‘Meet Now’ feature allows users to join video meetings without sign ups or downloads

In a move to connect users during the ongoing crisis, Skype has rolled out new Meet Now feature that allows you to easily set up a collaboration space and invite both Skype contacts and friends or family who are not on Skype. Participants can then easily join meetings whether they have an account or not. With this you can generate your free unique link with one click, share it with participants and enjoy unlimited meetings with Skype. It is fully free and the meeting link does not expire and can be used anytime, says the company. Google shuts down Neighbourly beta app due to low user interaction

Google launched the Neighbourly app beta back in 2018 as a local information sharing and Q&A app for select cities in India. However, it looks like that app will never leave beta as Google has announced that it is shutting down the app completely due to low user growth. In an answer to a question posted on Google's support page, Google announces that it will be closing the Neighbourly app data, with its last day of operation being May 12, 2020. However, the last date for users to download a copy of your Neighbourly data is October 12th, 2020. Amazon to launch game streaming service, several massively multiplayer online games

The gaming industry has been on a steady growth with some spiked increases in the last few years. Now, Amazon is planning its entry into game development next month with the launch of its first science-fiction shooter game called Crucible. Along with Crucible, it plans to launch "New World" which is a massively multiplayer online game. The game "Crucible" has been in development by Relentless in Seattle since 2014 and is the result of Amazon's long term investments in the Gaming industry and the original entertainment industry. Along with Crucible, Amazon plans to release another game called "New World", which is a massively multiplayer online game developed by another game studio in Irvine, California. Amazon is heavily focussed in bringing its cloud computing technologies into the video gaming space. realme announced Android 10 based realme UI a couple of months ago and started rolling out the update for eligible devices as per the schedule shared by the company. realme UI brings tons of new features such as dual earphone connection, animated wallpapers, screen-off display, customizable icon shape, new charging animation, realme Share (cross-brand file-sharing technology) and more. Google Maps releases COVID-19 Community Mobility Reports to help healthcare officials

Many companies are introducing special measures to help people combat the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Recently, Uber launched its UberMedic Service to help healthcare officials and the Government of India launched the AarogyaSetu mobile app earlier today. On similar lines, Google Maps now has released the COVID-19 Community Mobility Reports to help healthcare officials as they make critical decisions during this time. Google Maps' Community Mobility Reports for COVID-19 will provide insights about the places prior to the lockdown and what has changed now as people are working from home, shelter, and other policies. All these are aimed at flattening the curve of COVID-19 and Google says that stringent privacy policies and protocols are followed while developing these reports.
