Vodafone revises Rs. 95 prepaid plan with 56 days validity in selected circles
Late last year, telecom operators Airtel, Vodafone Idea, Reliance Jio hiked prepaid tariffs and later made several changes to its prepaid plans. Vodafone Idea has been making changes to its packs as well and on similar lines now, the company has revised Rs. 95 prepaid plan with more validity and reduced data. Prior to the tariff hike, Vodafone Rs. 95 'AllRounder' prepaid plan offered 500MB of data with 28 days validity. Now, the same plan offers 56 days validity but comes with a reduced data of 200MB. Users get a talk time of Rs. 74 and local/national calls are charged at 2.5p/sec. The Rs. 95 plan offers the highest validity in the 'AllRounder' pack and the other plans include Rs. 49 and Rs. 79 plans. The revised Rs. 95 'AllRounder' pack which is generally used for validity extension is available in select circles and that includes Bihar, Chennai, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai, and Tamil Nadu. Samsung has been rapidly expanding its M series of smartphones and recently the company launched the Galaxy M31, Galaxy M21 which are the successors of the popular Galaxy M30 and Galaxy M20 respectively. After the launch of the Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M21, Samsung has now silently introduced the Galaxy M11 which surfaced in rumors last year. Samsung Galaxy M11 flaunts a 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-O LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. It is powered by a 1.8Ghz Octa-Core processor, but the company hasn't revealed the name of the SoC yet. Furthermore, it is paired with up to 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage and the storage can be expanded up to 512GB through microSD. Zoom Cloud Meetings for iOS will no longer send information to Facebook
A few days ago, it was discovered that the popular video conferencing app, Zoom was sending telemetry information for iOS users to Facebook without clearly informing the user. A day later, Zoom issued an update to its iOS app to remove the code that sent information to Facebook and also updated its privacy policy. HUAWEI to introduce new Smart Screen flagship with pop-up camera on April 8
HUAWEI today announced that it will introduce new flagship Smart Screen, the company's flagship smart TV with a pop-up camera in China on April 8th. The teaser shows the TV with a larger pop-up camera and narrow upper bezel compared to previous generation, but doesn't give any other hints. It will likely feature a 4K HDR QLED screen similar to the first two models that were introduced recently. The built-in AI camera in the predecessor can record 1080p videos with intelligent adjustment according to the subject, and can perform AI adaptation according to the home environment, so the new Smart Screen should come with additional features. Google Play Store update adds Material Theme account switcher
Google has been bringing changes to several of its apps like Photos, Gmail, Maps, etc lately. Smooth gesture to switch accounts was added to Maps, Gmail, etc and on similar lines now, Google has started rolling out Material Theme account switcher for the Play Store and this comes after a revamp last year. With the latest Play Store update, the top right part shows the user's profile image and tapping the profile image opens up a full menu that displays the Google accounts present on the device and it also lets you add another account and manage accounts. Similar to Gmail, a quick swipe down gesture on the profile image allows you to quickly switch accounts.
