OnePlus unveils refreshed visual identity and new logo

OnePlus has unveiled its refreshed visual identity, including an updated logo, which is the most significant change to the OnePlus brand since the company was founded in December 2013. The company said that it aims to make the OnePlus brand more easily identifiable and versatile. The logo introduces a new curvilinear “1” which the company says  is easier to read while adjusting the weight of the logotype for better overall balance. The “+” in the surrounding box has also been enlarged and is now more prominent, in a nod to the OnePlus community, which has played a key role in the company’s ongoing success, adds OnePlus. The visual identity is accompanied by a fresh color palette which centers on OnePlus’s iconic red, followed by an updated secondary palette of cyan, green, magenta, indigo, and yellow. Google Translate for Android can now transcribe foreign languages in real time

In recent times, the ability to live transcribe speech has become popular in a few Google apps and now, yet another feature has come to Google Translate. Users can transcribe speech from one language to the language of their choice in real time, which can be a great feature when travelling abroad or if you have an international friend. The feature is available for 8 languages currently which include English, French, German, Hindi, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Thai. With the latest version of Translate, a user can click the 'Transcribe' button and choose the two languages they wish to translate between. Transcription will start once the mic button below is clicked and it can be paused with the same button. Users can also see the original transcript, change the text size or choose a dark theme in the settings menu. To use this feature make sure you have the latest version of Google Translate, which can be downloaded at the Play Store for Android, but it might be a server-side roll out. Samsung 150MP Nonacell sensor said to arrive in Q4 2020 first in Xiaomi smartphone

Samsung is said to be working on a new 150-megapixel sensor for flagship phones, according to new rumor from Korea. The rumor adds that it will be an 1" sensor that will the same Nonacell technology present in Galaxy S20 Ultra’s ISOCELL Bright HM1 108MP sensor. Nonacell is an enhanced version of Tetracell uses a three-by-three pixel structure. In the HM1, Nonacell merges nine neighboring 0.8μm pixels to mimic a large 2.4μm pixel, more than doubling Tetracell’s light absorption. Samsung announced its 108MP (12032×9024 pixel resolution) ISOCELL Bright HMX 0.8μm pixel image sensor, the first mobile sensor to go beyond 100 million pixels back in August last year. As a part of collaboration between Xiaomi Corp. and Samsung, the sensor first made its debut in Mi MIX Alpha concept phone in September, and later in Mi Note 10 in November last year. The report adds that Xiaomi will be the first to use the 150MP sensor in its flagship phone in Q4 2020, and this could be the Mi MIX 4 or the successor to the Mi Note 10. OPPO introduced the Reno3 5G long with the Reno3 Pro 5G back in December last year in China. It recently launched the 4G version of the Reno3 Pro in India, now it has launched the 4G version of the Reno3 in Sri Lanka. It has the same 6.4-inch waterdrop notch AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner that can unlock the phone in 0.34 seconds and runs ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 out of the box and features a glass back with a gradient design, but this is powered by MediaTek Helio P90 instead of Dimensity 1000L SoC. Even though this has a quad rear camera set up, this features a 48-megapixel main camera, 13-megapixel telephoto lens for  3x Hybrid Zoom and 20x Digital Zoom, comes with a 8MP 109º wide-angle lens that can also shoot 3cm macro and a 2MP mono lens for portrait shots.
