Microsoft Windows 10 crosses 1 billion active users

It has been nearly 5 years since Microsoft launched Windows 10 back in July 2015. In May 2016, it quickly crossed 300 million active users as Microsoft offered a free upgrade to all Windows 7 and 8 users. Now, Microsoft has announced that the number of active users of Windows 10 devices has crossed a total of 1 billion. This number includes 80,000 models and configurations of different laptops including new categories Surface Pro, Surface Book and Surface Hub 2S. Later this year, Microsoft will announce a new version of Windows 10, called the Windows 10X that is designed to run on the upcoming Surface Neo, a new dual-screen device. Apple working on iPhone 9 Plus, reveals iOS 14 code

Vivo V19 with 32MP dual punch-hole AMOLED display launching in India on March 26

Vivo has confirmed the launch of V19 smartphone in India on March 26th, after the V17 launch in December last year. It has confirmed. Recently the company confirmed 32 MP Dual Front Camera in Malaysia, and the other camera should be an ultra wide sensor. The image confirmed AMOLED screen with in-display fingerprint scanner. On the back the phone has 48MP quad rear camera setup that includes an ultra-wide sensor. It should support Super Night Selfie for both the front and rear cameras. Realme just announced the realme 6i, the company’s latest budget smartphone and the successor or last year’s realme 5i in Mayanmar, as it had promised. Samsung begins mass production of 512GB eUFS 3.1 storage chips with 1200MBps write speeds

Samsung Electronics, worlds leading manufacturer of storage technologies, has begun mass production of its 512GB eUFS 3.1 chips that are designed for flagship smartphones. It is capable of 3 times the sequential write performance and 1.6 times the random read of previous generation eUFS 3.0 storage chips. The new chip marks the first time a smartphone storage chip will break the 1GB/s performance threshold. With sequential write speed of over 1,200MB/s, the chip is is capable of over ten times the write speeds of a UHS-I microSD card (90MB/s). Random performance has been increased too, with 100,000 read IOPS and 70,000 IOPS for writes. Samsung will also have 256GB and 128GB capacities for flagship smartphones that will be released later in the year.
