OnePlus goes all 5G with future products, to invest $30 million in R&D Labs

Since its inception, OnePlus has always been attentive to users' needs and demands. As a result, the company designed devices that far exceeded users' expectations. One such thing in demand right now is the 5G! Not many knows the fact that OnePlus began its 5G research as early as 2016; however, the company couldn't mass produce due to several limitations. Road to 5G! Back in 2019, for the first time, OnePlus showcased its prototype smartphone powered by Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform with the Snapdragon X50 5G modem and Qualcomm RF Front-End solutions in MWC. Further, the company also simulated a futuristic setting of 5G cloud gaming where players would only need a smartphone and a gamepad. For the uninitiated, OnePlus launched its first 5G phone OnePlus 7 Pro in the UK (with EE) and US (with Sprint) last year. Fast-forwarding to 2020, OnePlus is all set to launch its OnePlus 8 series of smartphones with 5G support on the rumored launch date, which is April 15th. Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 2 earbuds with ANC announced

Sennheiser, a leader in audio equipment, has introduced their next generation truly wireless earbuds called the MOMENTUM True Wireless 2. It comes with a lot of enhancements like Active Noise Cancellation, refined ergonomics, 7 hour long battery life and more. The design of these earbuds have been refined to provide all-day comfort, nearly 2mm smaller than the older generation for improved ergonomics and fit. In the sound quality department, the MOMENTUM True Wireless 2 has 7mm dynamic drivers that can deliver deep bass, natural mids and clear treble. Users can also control equaliser values via the Sennheiser Smart Control App. Another highlight feature for the earbuds is the presence of Active Noise Cancellation using which the earbuds can offer high-fidelity sound, even in noisy environments. Sennheiser has also added a feature called Transparent Hearing to let users hear ambient sound at a touch of the earbuds. Battery life is claimed at 7 hours of playback time with up to 28 hours with the included case. Samsung Galaxy A70s Android 10 OneUI 2.0 update starts rolling out in India

The Samsung Galaxy A70s was launched in September 2019 and came preinstalled with Samsung OneUI based on Android 9.0 Pie. After nearly 6 months, Samsung is finally rolling out OneUI 2.0 that's based on Android 10. It is loaded with a ton of features improvements like Dark Mode, camera optimisations, more gesture support, detailed battery graphs and more. The Android 10-based OneUI update for the Galaxy A70s will have the build number as A707FDDU2BTC2 with a total file size of 2025.96MB. With the update, the Android security patch has also been updated to February 2020. Xiaomi India teases new product launch on March 16, wireless charging power bank expected

Xiaomi is rapidly expanding its accessories line-up with the launch of new products like Mi Outdoor speaker, Dual-Driver wired earphones, Mi Toothbrush, and more. On similar lines, Xiaomi India has teased a new product launch on March 16th, and it is expected to a power bank with wireless charging support. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-bgmf870F8 The teaser video posted by Xiaomi India reads "One less wire to deal with. Mi fans, it's time to #CutTheCord. All the power you need without any hassle. Guess what this is." The hashtag suggests that it will be a wireless product and the video suggests that it has to do something with charging. Going by this teaser, the product could be a power bank with wireless charging support.  There are more chances that the product will be a wireless charging power bank as the upcoming Mi 10 to be launched in India supports wireless charging. Amazon launches voice-based shopping with Alexa in India

Amazon has brought more functionality to Alexa in India namely the ability to shop on Amazon using just your voice. Customers can now use voice commands to search for products, add to Cart, check order status, proceed to checkout and more. This functionality has existed in the USA and a few other countries for quite a while now and Amazon has finally brought it to India. It currently works only with English and Amazon is promising more functionality will be added as Alexa's AI system continues to get smarter. Realme 6i with Helio G80, 48MP quad rear cameras, 5000mAh battery to be announced on March 17

After rumors, Realme has confirmed that the realme 6i, successor of the realme 5i will be introduced in Myanmar on March 17th. The company has confirmed 48MP quad rear cameras for the phone. It also said that this will be the world's first phone with MediaTek Helio G80 processor, which is a slight upgrade to the MediaTek Helio G70 12nm SoC that was introduced on the realme C3 last month. The phone with the model number RMX2040 has already been certified by the FCC revealing notch display, compared to punch-hole display in the realme 6i. It also reveed rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port. The phone is said to come with 18W charger, 5000mAh battery and a USB Type-C port. It measures 164.4 x 75.x 9.0mm and weighs 195g. It will likely run Android 10 with realme UI and feature HD+ screen like the Realme C3. The phone has dual SIM support, Wi-Fi b/g/n (2.4GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0. We should know the price and other details when it goes official next Tuesday. We can also India launch soon. Source

Motorola razr with 6.2-inch flexible OLED 21:9 CinemaVision display launching in India on Flipkart on March 16

After teasers Motorola has confirmed the launch of its razr foldable phone in India on March 16th on Flipkart. It was introduced back in November last year, and comes with a 6.2-inch flexible OLED 21:9 CinemaVision screen that closes completely in half, thanks to hinge mechanism that allows the phone to close with both sides perfectly flush. The touchscreen Quick View external display lets you respond to notifications, take selfies, play your music, use Google Assistant, and more without having to flip open your phone. There is a 16MP main camera with Laser Auto Focus and Night Vision mode and electronic image stabilization as well as built-in artificial intelligence (AI). There is a 5-megapixel selfie camera as well. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 710 with 6GB of RAM, runs stock Android Pie and doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack, but it comes with Premium USB Type-C headphones, tuned by expert sound engineers.
