Next generation Google Chromecast Ultra may get a dedicated remote, based on Android TV

Google's Chromecast Ultra has become a very successful product in the Made By Google Portfolio. However, it has faced stiff competition from other streaming hardware like Amazon Fire Stick, Roku, etc. Now, Google might be working on the second generation of the Chromecast Ultra which might come with its own remote. Right now codenamed 'Sabrina', the Chromecast Ultra will come all the expected features such as support for 4K HDR content, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. However, the two rumours that are the most interesting is that Google will develop the Chromecast to run full-fledged Android TV and that it will come with its own dedicated remote. This will bring the Chromecast on par feature wise with the popular Fire Stick from Amazon with the ability to run apps like YouTube TV, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu. USA temporarily renews HUAWEI General License for another 45 days [Update: Extended till May 15]

Update: March 11, 2020 — US Department of Commerce has extended the Temporary General License (TGL) for HUAWEI through May 15, 2020 and said that it has provided this opportunity to receive input from public. Earlier: According to an announcement made by the US Department of Commerce, HUAWEI will be allowed to continue operation in its network communication systems for another 45 days compared to 90 days usually. This Temporary General License (TGL) was extending to give rural telecommunication providers more time to identify alternatives to HUAWEI for future operation. It seems as though telecommunication companies in the US are struggling to find other secure network alternatives to HUAWEI, especially rural companies. The Department of Commerce had already extended TGL's in the past, the most recent one being in November which extended the license for another 90 days. During this time, HUAWEI and foreign affiliates will not be allowed to acquire any American technology or used in a manner that undermines U.S. national security or foreign policy interests. HUAWEI was added on to the Entity list last year by the USA Department of Commerce. The reason provided by the US government was that they concluded the company posed a significant risk of involvement in activities ...
