OnePlus 8 series will have 5G support confirms OnePlus
OnePlus 8 series is expected launch mid-April, and the rumored launch date is April 15th. Today the company has confirmed that its upcoming flagship phones will have 5G support. OnePlus said that began its 5G research as early as 2016, and added that the company has accumulated a wealth of experience and cutting-edge technology for tackling the commercialization and mass production of 5G smartphones. The company showcased a 5G prototype smartphone at the MWC in February last year, and introduced its first OnePlus 7 Pro 5G phone in May. It introduced OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition in October. OnePlus already confirmed Quad HD+ OLED ‘Fluid Display’ with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit HDR for the OnePlus 8 Pro. We should know more details including the exact launch date for the OnePlus 8 series sometime later this month. Samsung Galaxy M21 with Super AMOLED display, 48MP triple rear cameras, 6000mAh battery launching in India on March 12
After the Galaxy M31 launch last month, Samsung has confirmed that a cheaper Galaxy M21 smartphone will be launched in the country on March 16th on Amazon.in. This confirms Infinity-U Super AMOLED display, and it will probably come with a FHD+ resolution. It also shows rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone will come with 48MP rear camera along with an ultra-wide sensor and probably a depth sensor. It also confirms a 20-megapixel front camera and a 6000mAh battery, and it will likely come with USB Type-C port and 15W fast charging . Based on recent Geekbench listing, the phone with the model number SM-M215F will be powered by Exynos 9611 10nm processor with Mali-G72MP3 GPU, same as the M31. It is said to come in 4GB and 128GB storage options and 4GB RAM option, and probably will also come in 6GB RAM option. It will run Android 10 with One UI 2.0.

Facebook is testing cross-posting of Stories to Instagram
Facebook has begun testing the ability to cross-post Facebook Stories in Instagram for some users. Code found in Facebook for Android app points to a toggle to share a Story that was created using the app directly to Instagram. Along with the options of Public, Friends, Custom and Hide From options, there will be a new toggle to share the story directly to the users Instagram account. At the moment, it is possible to share Instagram stories to Facebook but not the other way around. Facebook did confirm that they are testing the feature with limited users for now, with no expected date for wide roll-out. Apple's WatchOS 7 and Watch Series 6 is expected to launch sometime during August-September this year and with it, Apple might bring a significant amount of changes. In a code leak of iOS 14, it was revealed that features like sleep tracking, tachymeter, the ability to share your watch face and more will be coming to the Apple Watch Series 6. Concerning watch faces, Apple will be bringing two new updates. The first being the ability to share watch faces that have been customised by a user via the Watch app on the iPhone. Watch face configurations can also be saved as files in the Files app which can later be shared via AirDrop. Motorola Edge+ 5G phone with 6.67-inch curved 90Hz display, Snapdragon 865, up to 12GB RAM surfaces
Motorola has been in a launch spree as the company recently launched the Moto G8, G Stylus, Moto G Power and will be soon launching the razr foldable phone. Following that, the company's flagship Motorola Edge+ has now surfaced along with key specifications and the new logo has been surfaced as well. Motorola Edge+ is said to sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ curved 90Hz display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM. On the optics front, it is said to feature a 108MP sensor and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, the recent FCC (Federal Communications Commission) listing has revealed the new logo of Motorola Edge+ and more diagrams reveal the mmWave 5G antenna locations. It is still not clear if mmWave support is exclusive to the Verizon variant of the Edge+. Lastly, it is said to pack a 5170mAh battery and should come with Quick Charge support.
