Samsung Galaxy Buds+ with improved sound, triple microphones, up to 11 hours battery life announced

When the Samsung Galaxy Buds were launched, they were arguably some of the only truly wireless earbuds that could compare against the highly popular Apple AirPods. Now at the Samsung Unpacked event, they have launched their new Samsung Galaxy Buds+ with a range of improvements and features. Starting with sound quality, in partnership with AKG, Samsung has added a tweeter and a woofer for rich treble and powerful bass. Samsung promises a more balanced sound signature with the Buds+. For the microphone quality, which was an area that the original Buds struggled with, Samsung has fitted the Buds+ with three mics. Two external mics along with an internal mic use beam forming technology to offer much improved audio capture for calls. Samsung has also improved its Ambient Sound feature, giving users to choose from four levels of background noise passthrough. Battery life is an area where the Galaxy Buds+ have improved massively. According to Samsung, the 85mAh battery in each earbuds offers 11 hours of music playback, which can be doubled up to 22 hours with the included charging case. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra with 6.9-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O 120Hz display, up to 16GB RAM, 100X zoom, 5G announced

Samsung has announced Galaxy S20 Ultra along with the Galaxy S20 and S20+ smartphones at its Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco, as it had promised. It packs a 6.97-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O Displays with 120Hz refresh rate, powered by Snapdragon 865 / Exynos 990 SoC depending on the market and with Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 / Exynos Modem 5123 modem and up to whopping 16GB RAM. It features in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner, run Android 10 with OneUI 2.0 and come with Samsung services like Bixby, Samsung Health and Samsung Pay. It has a primary 108-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, 12-megapixel Ultra Wide Lens with a 120-degree field of view, 48-megapixel Telephoto lens with OIS with Super Resolution Zoom up to 100X and a depth sensor. These pack a 6.2/6.7-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O Displays with 120Hz refresh rate, powered by Snapdragon 865 / Exynos 990 SoC depending on the market and also comes in 5G models with Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 / Exynos Modem 5123 modem. Google Assistant-powered ‘Ambient Mode’ starts rolling out to OnePlus devices

Google released the Android 10 operating system earlier last year which brought in several new features like Dark Mode, native 5G support, Focus mode, and more. It also introduced the new 'Ambient Mode' which essentially turns any android smartphone into a smart display. While it was available on a handful of Lenovo tablets and Nokia smartphones, 'Ambient Mode' is now rolling out to OnePlus devices as well. WorkIndia secures Rs. 42 crore funding from Xiaomi

WorkIndia, one of India's largest blue collar recruitment platform has announced that it has secured an investment of Rs. 42 crores from Chinese technology company, Xiaomi. They had earlier received funding from multiple other investments include Beenext Pte Ltd., Asuka Investments and more. Optoma P1 Smart 4K UHD HDR Ultra Short Throw projector launched in India

Optoma, a leading brand in projection and audio products has launched their flagship P1 4K ultra short throw-type projector in India. The projector features a laser projection system, support for HDR10, Dolby Digital 2.0, a built-in integrated sounder with Bluetooth capabilities and more. The Optoma P1 belongs to the ultra short throw class of projectors. China smartphone market shipped 366.7 million units, dipping 7.5% in 2019 as threat of Coronavirus looms: Report

While China remains as the biggest smartphone market in the world, it saw a decline in 2019 by about 7.5%, shipping about 366.7 million units in total. Q4 2019 was not a good quarter either as a decline of 15.6% YoY was reported, with the shipment volume coming up to 86.2 million. The top 5 manufactures in China for Q4 2019 are HUAWEI, Vivo, OPPO, Apple and Xiaomi. HUAWEI maintained its lead in the Chinese smartphone market for now, with the popular Mate 30 series, other 5G products along with strong brand appeal and channel management sustaining its growth. Vivo dominated the mid-range segment with its popular iQOO and S series, selling over 14.1 million units in Q4 2019. OPPO found itself at 3rd place, also  shipping 14.1 million units as it launched over 8 models for the Reno series, ranging from mid to high end smartphones. Vodafone launches new Rs. 499 prepaid plan with Unlimited Calling, 70 days validity

Late last year, Vodafone Idea and other telecom operators revised prepaid plans and increased tariffs by up to 40%. After revising the tariff, Vodafone came up with a new Rs. 997 prepaid plan recently and following that, now Vodafone has launched the new Rs. 499 prepaid plan which is positioned below Rs. 599 plan and above Rs. 398 plan. Vodafone Rs. 499 prepaid plan comes with benefits like 1.5GB of data per day, Unlimited Calls, 100 SMS per day, and has a validity of 70 days. The additional benefits include the Vodafone Play subscription worth Rs. 499 and ZEE5 subscription worth Rs. 999. In comparison, Airtel's Rs. 449 prepaid plan offers 2GB of data per day, Truly Unlimited calls, 100 SMS per day, but comes with just 56 days validity. Similarly, Jio's Rs. 444 prepaid plan offers 2GB of data per day, Truly Unlimited calls (only Jio to Jio), 100 SMS per day, and comes with 56 days validity.
