Now the company has confirmed that it will launch its first product for the Indian market in February. It also plans to launch 4G smartphones in the country with high-end specifications. The iQOO phone will be India’s first smartphone powered by Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform and will also feature 5G support. iQOO said that it will be backed by robust performance capabilities in the charging, gaming, and design department, providing phone phonetics uninterrupted content consumption, according to the company. iQOO will be selling its phones in India through online platforms initially, and plans to sell its phones via offline stores in the future. OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro listed on Amazon India affiliate page, launch imminent

OnePlus launched the 'OnePlus 7T' and 'OnePlus 7T Pro' last year and leaks and rumours have been surfacing on the next version i.e., OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. This time around there have been leaks on a cheaper version of the OnePlus 8 i.e., OnePlus 8 Lite. The launch of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro India could be imminent as Amazon India affiliate page has listed both the smartphones. Amazon India's affiliate page lists fixed advertising fees for various products including smartphones. Now, under the NEW: Mobile Phones at 1% Fixed Advertising Fee category OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 are listed, confirming an imminent launch. Nokia smartphone code named ‘Captain America’ with 6GB RAM surfaces, could be Nokia 5.2

HMD Global launched the Nokia 5.1 smartphone back in 2018 and later launched the Nokia 5.1 Plus which was a success for the company. While there was no information regarding the successor of the Nokia 5.1 for quite some time, now, a new Nokia smartphone with a circular quad rear camera module, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a waterdrop notch has surfaced and it could be the Nokia 5.2 smartphone. According to Evan Blass (@evleaks), the Nokia that has surfaced is code-named 'Captain America' and it indeed could be the Nokia 5.2. Coming to the specifications, not much is known yet, but the 5.2 is said to sport 6GB RAM with 64GB storage. There is no information on the processor as of now, but we can expect it to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Mobile Platform. Furthermore, it is said to be unveiled on 4th March 2020 and is said to be priced around US$ 180 (Rs. 12,870 approx). We should know more information in the coming days. PUMA launches its first smartwatch in India with WearOS, heart rate tracking, GPS for Rs. 19995

PUMA has partnered with Fossil Group to launch their first smartwatch in India. The PUMA PT9100 is a sporty styled smartwatch running Android WearOS with a heart rate sensor, GPS, Rapid charging, Activity Tracking and more. The PT9100 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 3100, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of ROM and connects via Bluetooth 4.2. It has 1.19 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels. Being an PUMA sporty smartwatch, there is also water resistance up to 50M. Apple rolls out new redesigned Maps with real time transit info, faster navigation and more in USA

Apple is rolling out a new update v1.3.5 to its Maps app in the US that offers a redesign with faster navigation, better road coverage, more precise addresses and better land detail cover. It has also been updated with other features like real time transit info, flight statuses, indoor maps and more. Google launches SOS alert for Novel Coronavirus in Search

Novel Coronavirus which is spreading in several parts of the world has now turned into an emergency situation worldwide. World Health Organization (WHO) has released important information and safety measures to tackle Coronavirus and now, Google has also stepped in to aid people. Microsoft announces Xbox Bounty Program to identify vulnerabilities, offers awards up to $20000

Microsoft Xbox has announced a new bug bounty program in an attempt to use the public's help to identify critical bugs in the Xbox software ecosystem. The bounties will be decided according to the severity of the bug, its security impact and the quality of report submitted by the researcher (bounty hunter). Many companies have announced bug bounty programs in the past as a way of finding critical problems in their software systems. In this program, there are multiple tiers of security impacts, from Remote Code Execution to Tampering. Each security impact has its bounty rewards decided by its severity ranging from critical to low and three levels of report quality. To qualify for an eligible submission, a researcher must identify a previously unreported vulnerability that can be reproduced in that latest, fully patched version of Xbox Live network and services at the time of submission. The report must also include clear, concise, and reproducible steps, either in writing or in video format.
