Vodafone launches new Rs. 997 prepaid plan with truly unlimited calling, 180 days validity
Recently, telecom operators Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and Reliance Jio revised prepaid tariffs by up to 40% and subsequently introduced new prepaid plans too. On similar lines now, Vodafone has launched new Rs. 997 prepaid recharge plan with benefits like unlimited calling, 1.5GB data per day, and more. This comes after the launch of Rs. 99 and Rs. 555 prepaid plans and this new Rs. 997 prepaid plan offers 1.5GB of data per day along with Unlimited Calling, 100 SMS and comes with 180 days validity. Additional benefits include Vodafone Play subscription worth Rs. 499 and Zee5 subscription worth Rs. 999. To compare, the Rs. 599 plan comes with similar benefits but has a validity of 84 days. The new prepaid plan is not available in all circles as of now and is expected to be available in all circles soon. Similarly, to compare, Airtel and Reliance offer Rs. 598, Rs. 599 prepaid plans, but they don't offer 180 days validity. Hopefully, other operators will also introduce similar plans soon. Via

HUAWEI will use TomTom for maps instead of Google Maps
Earlier last year, Google suspended some of its business operations with HUAWEI which includes a ban on using Google Services and Play Store. Subsequently, the company got another 90-day license extension to do business with American firms. While the smartphones launched by HUAWEI recently doesn't come with Google Play Services, the company has been working on alternatives. On similar lines now, HUAWEI will use TomTom for navigation instead of Google Maps. TomTom has closed a deal with HUAWEI and in upcoming devices, HUAWEI will use TomTom maps and services. The deal was closed some time ago, but it was announced publicly. The deal with TomTom could be a big boost to HUAWEI as it cannot use Google Maps for navigation on its new devices. Having said that, it is to be seen how HUAWEI will take advantage of the map data and add its own set of customizations. Amazon India starts rolling out electric delivery vehicles, plans for 10,000 EVs by 2025
Amazon India has announced that it has started rolling out electric delivery vehicles across India after successful pilots across different cities in 2019. It said that its fleet of delivery vehicles in the country will include 10,000 electric vehicles (EVs) by 2025. These EVs are in addition to the global commitment of 100,000 electric vehicles in the delivery fleet by 2030 announced in the Climate Pledge signed by Amazon. Hey, India. Realme X2 realme UI beta testing application open
realme CEO, Madhav Sheth confirmed the existence of realme UI back in October last year and said that it will offer a near-stock Android experience, since then there have been lots of speculation about realme UI. The company finally announced the realme UI rollout schedule back in November and shared a few teasers to give users an idea of what's coming their way. The company started recruiting realme UI Beta testers for realme XT and realme X2 Pro back in November, and as per some leaks, realme UI beta testing has already kicked off for realme X2 Pro. Now, the company is looking for testers who have experience in beta testing of software and reporting bugs. Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G live images surface — punch-hole 120Hz OLED screen, Snapdragon 865, 108MP quad rear cameras, 65W fast charging
Xiaomi already confirmed that it will introduce Mi 10 powered by Snapdragon 865 Mobile platform with Samsung's 108MP sensor in Q1 2020. Today live images of the smartphone have surfaced revealing the design of the smartphone. The images show curved punch-hole screen, which should be AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate and feature in-display fingerprint scanner, quad rear cameras, which should be similar to Mi Mix Alpha and a 3D curved glass back. The box confirms the Mi 10 Pro 5G name, and there should also be the standard Mi 10 version. It is said to feature dual speakers, one on the top and the other on the bottom, Hi-Res audio certification with USB Type-C audio. The 65W charger has also been revealed, faster than 40W wired fast charging in the Mi Mix Alpha, and it should come with Mi Charge Turbo 30W wireless fast charging support as well. Black Shark, popular for its gaming smartphones has announced a partnership with Tencent games to explore innovation in gaming both in terms of software and hardware. The company said that it aims to provide users with a more diverse gaming experience. The company introduced the Black Shark 2 Pro smartphone back in July last year, so the Black Shark 3 is expected mid-2020, and the new partnership has created a lot of expectations. ASUS partnered with Tencent Games for the ROG Phone II last year, and even introduced Tencent customized Elite version at a cheaper rate in China. Airtel launches new Rs. 179 prepaid bundle with truly unlimited calls, life insurance cover of Rs. 2 lakh
Airtel has launched new Rs. 179 pre-paid bundle with built-in Bharti Axa Life insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh, unlimited calling to any network, 2GB data, 300 SMS and a validity of 28 days. It also includes Airtel Xstream App Premium and Wynk Music. The company already offers Rs. 149 with similar benefits, but without life insurance. "The pack is designed to serve entry level smartphone users and feature phone users in semi-urban and rural markets. It will give these customers a simple and highly convenient channel to secure themselves and their families financially every time they recharge their Airtel mobile numbers," said the company.
