Update: Flipkart has now confirmed that S10 Lite will be launched in India on January 23rd. Earlier:Samsung introduced the Galaxy S10 Lite and Note10 Lite smartphones yesterday, and the phones will be showcased at the CES 2020 next week. Now Flipkart has confirmed that it will launch the Galaxy S10 Lite smartphone in India soon. Samsung has also enabled notify option for the  S10 Lite and Note10 Lite on its website, so we can expect both the phones as early as this month. To remind you the phones pack a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display, in-display fingerprint scanner, 32-megapixel front camera inside the tiny punch-hole and a 4500mAh battery with support for 25w fast charging. HUAWEI Y9 Prime 2019 EMUI 10 update based on Android 10 starts rolling out in India

HUAWEI launched the Y9 Prime 2019 earlier last year in India and the phone shipped with EMUI 9 based on Android 9 Pie. After rolling out EMUI 10 update based on Android 10 to the P30 Pro and HONOR 10 Lite recently, HUAWEI has now started rolling out EMUI 10 update for the Y9 Prime 2019 in India. The update is about 3.49 GB in size and carries the build number 10.0.0.159. However, it doesn't bring the latest January 2020 security patch, rather brings the November 2019 security patch. The update is rolled out gradually and will take time to reach all devices. Xiaomi releases Android 10 based Kernel Source Codes for Mi A3, Mi A2, POCO F1 and Mi 8 Series

Xiaomi launched the very first device under Android One program in collaboration with Google back in September 2017, the Android One program guarantees a couple of Android version updates with regular security patch updates. Xiaomi has been releasing a new Android One device with a focus on cameras and design every year since 2017, and as a result, we have Mi A1, Mi A2, and Mi A3 under Android One program from Xiaomi. The company launched the Mi A3 in India back in August and said it will be amongst the first devices to receive Android 10 update. Xiaomi has already rolled out Android 10 based MIUI update to Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 but Android One devices such as Mi A3 and Mi A2 are yet to receive Android 10 update. Falkon Aerbook laptop by Marq by Flipkart with Intel Core i5 processor, SSD launched for Rs. 39990

Walmart-owned Flipkart has launched its first new laptop under its home electronics brand 'Marq by Flipkart' called the Falkon Aerbook. The laptop is 13.3-inch, thin and light, Intel powered machine that is designed for everyday use, with a clean design and minimal bezels on the screen. The laptop, which was apparently designed in collaboration with Intel and Microsoft, features a 16.5mm slim design and weighs in at 1.26kg. It is powered by a mid range Intel’s 8th Gen Core i5 processor, features 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage along with an extra slot for more storage. In the battery department, the laptop contains a 37 Whr battery, which Flipkart claims will give 5 hours of use on a single charge. Walmart, earlier last year, had tried its own series of gaming focused laptops under the brand name 'Overpowered'. But the product line was quickly scrapped as both the desktop and laptops had multiple issues with its hardware, especially considering its price. Update: OPPO has confirmed the launch of F15 smartphone in India on January 16th. It has also started posting teasers on Flipkart and Amazon.in. This confirms that the phone will have similar specifications as A91 that was launched in China recently. Earlier: OPPO has started teasing the launch of F15, the company's next generation F series smartphone and the successor of this year's F11 in India soon. OnePlus 2020 Screen Technology to be unveiled on January 13

OnePlus has sent out invites in China for introducing new 2020 screen technology on January 13. The company has not revealed any details about the event. Based on rumors we can expect 120Hz refresh rate screen, an upgrade from 90Hz screen its current flagships. OnePlus introduced its OnePlus Concept One with hidden camera technology that uses electrochromic glass on the back and a leather finish at the CES earlier this week. Based on recent rumors, the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro smartphones will feature a punch-hole screen with 120Hz refresh rate, so the company is said to preview the screen technology at the China event next week. Samsung said to have named Galaxy Fold successor as “Galaxy Bloom” in a secret CES 2020 meeting

In a secret meeting at CES 2020, Samsung has reportedly named the upcoming successor to the Galaxy Fold as the 'Galaxy Bloom'. In a report by the website ajunews.com, the Galaxy Bloom will apparently have a design that is inspired by the powder compact of the luxury cosmetics brand Lancome. The next-generation foldable phone that follows the Galaxy Fold will be a device that will targeted heavily at women in their 20s, who have used relatively few smartphones in their lives. That will explain Samsung's design choice of being inspired by the compact powder from French cosmetics brand Lancome.
