Samsung CES 2020 event set for January 6, ‘Zero Bezel’ TV expected

Samsung just announced that its CES 2020 keynote has been scheduled for January 6th in Las Vegas, a day before the CES begins on the 7th January. The teaser says 'Age of Experience' and a light coming from pathway. Samsung Electronics President CEO of Consumer Electronics Division H.S. Amazfit Bip S with ultra-long battery life and true wireless earbuds to be announced at CES 2020

Huami launched several Amazfit smartwatches in India this year like the Bip, Bip Lite, GTS, and GTR. Expanding their lineup of smartwatches, Huami has now teased a new smartwatch and true wireless earbuds launch at CES 2020 which is scheduled from January 7th to January 10th, 2020. The Amazfit Bip S smartwatch will be unveiled at CES 2020, and it will come with "ultra-long" battery life and will be "ultra-lightweight", according to the teaser. The teaser video shows a glimpse of the smartwatch with a circular dial. Furthermore, Huami has also teased the launch of its new true wireless earbuds with replaceable ear tips and a glossy finish. "The first Amazfit TWS headset is coming soon and there's more", reads the teaser. It should be interesting to see what new Huami has to offer with its first true wireless earbuds. Xiaomi Watch Color smartwatch with circular display, colorful straps announced

Xiaomi launched its Wear OS-based Mi Watch with AMOLED display, eSIM support last month. Following that, Xiaomi's Mijia or Mi Ecosystem has now announced its new 'Watch Color' with a circular display, various color strap options, and more. Mijia has just posted a teaser image of the Watch Color smartwatch on Weibo and it doesn't specify the specifications. The teaser image reveals a circular display, 1540 customizable color combinations, and the image also mentions "long battery life". It also seems to be waterproof, according to the teaser images. China to complete its Beidou Navigation Satellite System with launch of 2 satellites in 2020

China's competitor to the GPS, the Beidou-3 Navigation Satellite System will launch its final two satellites before June 2020 to complete its constellation. The total number of satellites will come up to 24 and will be an alternative to the popular US owned GPS that everyone is familiar with. The Beidou (literally meaning 'Big Dipper') project is currently in its third iteration, after the first iteration was decommissioned in 2012. With the launch of the two satellites, the Beidou navigation system will contain core and important technologies like high performance indicators, new technology systems, high localization, mass production networking. Based on its core system, China is also planning to advance it further with a smarter, more accessible and more integrated system that will come online by 2035. Focusing heavily on its space program, China's government is prioritizing the development of multiple independent high-tech technologies such as 5G integration. Samsung to showcase humanoid robot, smart highlighter and more C-Lab ventures at CES 2020

Samsung Electronics, the Korean technology giant will showcase 9 successful projects at CES 2020 from its C-Lab ventures, 5 projects from its C-Lab inside program and 4 projects from its C-Lab outside program. Projects will include Samung C-Lab inside labs began in 2012 and has over 40 successful projects that have launched as fully-fledged start-ups, independent from the company. The lab will showcase 5 new projects from this year that are focused on lifestyle products that are convenient and healthy. One of these projects is called SelfieType, a project that requires no additional hardware. It uses a proprietary AI engine that uses the front-facing selfie camera to analyze finger movements coming from the front camera, and converts them into QWERTY keyboard inputs. Another cool project that is being showcased is a smart highlighter called 'Hyler' It can digitize texts from paper onto mobile devices, allowing users to simply collect the information and manage it with the app. SunnySide is an interesting project that can literally be used as a replacement for getting sunlight. Vivo smartphones will launch online and offline simultaneously in India starting from 2020

The trend of online-exclusive smartphone models became popular in recent times and many smartphone brands launched online-only models. On similar lines, Vivo also launched its online-exclusive U series, Z series, S series, etc and now giving in to a long-standing demand of offline retailers, Vivo has announced that they will stop launching online-exclusive smartphones starting next year. In a letter to offline retailers and All India Mobile Retailers Association (AIMRA), Jerome Chen, CEO of vivo Mobiles India said that as a part of the company's 2020 strategy, they will simultaneously launch smartphones online and offline and there won't be any online-only models. So, there won't be any Vivo products that will be exclusive to Flipkart or Amazon starting next year. Also, the company said that its products will launch at the same price across both channels and the price and offers will be consistent across both online and offline channels. The company also urged offline retailers to offer a great buying experience for customers.
