LG to showcase WebOS Auto extended platform at CES 2020

LG Electronics is entering the in-vehicle infotainment system under the WebOS platform called WebOS Auto. It is a Linux-based automotive infotainment system that will serve as a connected hub among connected cars, supporting a variety of solutions and services. LG will showcase WebOS Auto at CES 2020 with a connected car, having seats made by Adient, a car seat manufacturer. that is capable of internet radio and video streaming. WebOS Auto also has partnerships with many leading companies like Qualcomm, Microsoft, MS, Qt and Luxoft. Many of these companies will  have exhibits for their WebOS solutions at CES 2020 too. Qualcomm will showcase its integration of the Qualcomm Snapdragon Automotive Development Platform (ADP) which is connected via its 5G tech. And Microsoft will an Audio, Video and Navigation scenario that utilizes its cloud platform called the Microsoft Connected Vehicle Platform (MCVP). There is also an a Human Machine Interface (HMI) developed by a Finish company called Qt which will be very interesting to see. MediaTek Dimensity 800 5G SoC for mid-range devices to be announced in Q1 2020

Last month, MediaTek unveiled its flagship 7nm Dimesnity 1000 Soc with built-in 5G. While the Dimesnity 1000 is already shipping to OEMs, MediaTek has now announced a new SoC for mid-range devices - Dimesnity 800 and it will be launched in Q1 2020. MediaTek Dimensity 800 5G SoC will debut on smartphones in Q2 2020, but the list of manufacturers who will use this chipset is not announced yet. Similarly, the technical specifications of the chipset are not known yet. It will be powering the mid-range devices launching next year while the flagship Dimensity 1000 will be used in the high-end smartphones. As the Dimensity 800 comes with built-in 5G, it will compete with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC and it too comes with an integrated 5G modem. BSNL Christmas and New Year Offer: Get Rs.1999 annual plan with Unlimited calls and 60 days extra validity

Earlier this month, telecom operators Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and Reliance Jio revised prepaid tariffs and later announced unlimited calling to all networks across the country. Post that yesterday, Reliance Jio launched the 2020 Happy New Year offer and now on similar lines, BSNL has announced recharge offers for Rs. 1999 annual plan. BSNL Rs. 1999 plan will offer 60 days extra validity and this means that users recharging this plan will get 425 days validity instead of 365 days. Furthermore, it offers 3GB of data/day, Unlimited calls to any network, 100 SMS/day, and free BSNL Tunes and BSNL TV subscription. This offer is valid from 25th December 2019 to 31st January 2020. Apart from this, BSNL has announced that Rs. 450 recharge plan will offer Rs. 500 talk time and Rs. 250 recharge plan will offer Rs. 275 talk time. Nokia TA-1213 with Snapdragon 215 processor gets certified, could be Nokia 1.3

Earlier this week, HMD Global launched the Nokia 2.3 which is the company’s latest budget Android One smartphone and the successor of Nokia 2.2 in India. Now, a new Nokia smartphone with model number TA-1213 has passed Bluetooth certification and it appears to be a low-end smartphone similar to the Nokia C1 Android Go Edition and Nokia 2.3. Nokia TA-1213 could be named Nokia 1.3 and unlike its predecessor Nokia 1 Plus which featured a MediaTek chipset, the TA-1213 model will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, according to the certification. More specifically, it will be a Snapdragon 2xx series chipset, so we can expect it to be the Snapdragon 215 processor. Apart from this, the smartphone will have support for Bluetooth 4.2. Rest of the specifications and details about the Nokia 1.3 smartphone is not known yet, but we can expect HMD Global to launch it soon. HONOR to launch MagicBook laptops in India in 2020

HONOR, a sub-brand of the Chinese smartphone giant HUAWEI is reportedly planning to the enter the Indian PC market with the launch of two laptops sometime in the first quarter of next year. The laptops will be powered by either Intel or AMD chips along with either Vega 10 or Nvidia's MX150 graphics cards. The HONOR MagicBook is currently sold in China as a Macbook-type Windows laptop alternative. It can be described as a more budget alternative to the sleeker HUAWEI MateBook series. The exact launch dates are not announced, but we can expect it to arrive early next year in the first quarter. LG V60 ThinQ Dual Display 5G phone said to be announced at MWC 2020 in February

LG electronics does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon as the company is slated to launch its next flagship phone with 5G and dual displays, likely to be named the V60 ThinQ. LG is planning to announce the phone at MWC 2020 in February. LG recently released the dual display form factor with the G8x ThinQ. It had a lack luster launch as its only differentiating point was the dual screen and that was not enough to entice customers. He has confirmed that the realme fitness band will arrive in the first half of 2020 without giving any hints about it.
